Michael Fright's Vehicle Thread
« on: July 24, 2011, 08:13:33 AM »
This is another one I don't know why I didn't think of sooner, but once I saw this to Scale Walker (well close) I just had to create it. Thanks to Darth Daddy and Elias for making me aware of it vie their Facebook Profile!

This is a fellow called Horror Movie Nut ( I have never met him, but hope too now! ), and he has created all three of these items.

Custom 4 Foot Walker

5 Foot Falcon

6 Foot Sandcrawler

Wow!

This fellow is posting some videos of how to build one of these Walkers on Facebook. His profile is Micheal Fright

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1280471214

and I am also putting up the videos on the front page of the Yards. The first two are up there now with just some awesome tips on how to create the head of this massive beast. I feel like a kid at Christmas. Here are the facebook video links I have so far:

Episode 1 Constructing the Head

Episode 2 Constructing the Dashboard Cockpit

Episode 3 The Cockpit in Various Stages

I have never seen anything like it.

Michael made four new videos today so I am gonna put those up here and get this moved to the custom vehicle thread.

Episode 4: The Cockpit Dashboard

Episode 5: The Cockpit Dashboard Continued...

Episode 6: The Cockpit Dashboard Continued 2...

Episode 7: Constructing the Overhead Computers

This is going to be the definitive how to build for years to come.

Michael tagged a few more videos for me so I am adding them to the mix. Before I do that though check out the link below which will take you to a facebook album he created for his Tantive IV. Not only is this the biggest build I am aware of for this ship, but it seems he completed this through much trial and tribulation, what a true SW Fan!

Walker Build TOC Continued...

Episode 15: Gluing the Neck in Place

Episode 15: How to make sure the Neck is Secure

As you could tell if you listened to the podcast, Michael's story just told itself. I don't think Chad and I had to give him more than one or two questions. He just loves Star Wars.
