not at this rate, fraking royalty hungry lucas will have concockted yet another idea to further his franchise on star wars... he'll probably make movies on the yuzong vong war or some crap  like that....  or come up with some other crappy tv show idea to make figures from!

I would like to see some expanded cgi work on the battle of Hoth now that special effects have improved.

yeah, the phantom was supposed to be a long range two seater recon tie.  I honestly don't know how they worked out the cockpit arangement in that though, it'd be hard to make a normal canopy opening upwards with that top wing there...

Nooooo tamer, not the battle of hoth! CGI would totally ruin that, they would take out the awesome stop-motion that makes that scene so awesome! CGI is way over-used, people need to learn when a hand-built model is just the right thing to do. Yada yada, more expensive to build model versions, PFF WHATEVER. At least you have something physical to show for your work, and it doesn't look crappy after a format change or two (lighting never stays correct on CGI things after enough time, but models always look great!). Don't get me wrong, some things are okay to do with CG, but some (COUGH-YODA-COUGH) just look dumb when they're computer generated.

For a long time I've hoped Lucas would add the Imperial invasion/landing on Hoth with the walkers being dropped off and Sentinel Landing ships en masse while the Imperial theme played.  I know it's not necessary to the plot and all but how frickin cool would that be?
