Title: What can we do to make this new CW ship?

In the newest CW Episode (Children of the Force?) they introduced a new ship.

What do we have out there that we could customize to create it?

At the moment, I have no name or type for the ship.

Thoughts? Ideas?

it looks slightly correlian in nature... I would think maybe using a melinium falcon cockpit for the front and then scratch building the rest...

it'd have to be huge.  There is supposed to be 4 seats in that cockpit.

you could possibly make a smaller version with only one seat using a B-wing cockpit and bearings....

I was looking at that one too while I watched the episode.  I think scratch building it would be the only way to go.

There really doesn't seem to be all that much going on with the ship in terms of details,  Semi arched saucer hull, the cockpit depending on scale would be the hardest part, but almost none of Hasbro's stuff is in scale so you could be free to make it anywhere from a 1 to a 4 person design. The Falcon cockpit could work if you could find a junker falcon. To make it swivel would be as simple as a dowel rod through the body.  A little wood, filler and sanding  the contours and some sort of rear engine housing and you could do it.

give sarge some MDF,2x4 and an orbital sander he'd make a bloody death star! ....lol

after my surgery I might actually tackle this project.... it'd be pretty straitforward I think....

I would if I could only figure out how to get the huge laser cannon to work ;)

This could be a fun project to do, looks ripe for possibilites

I think a small "action fleet" size or one seater b wing scale would be doable. There would be a lot of fabrication involved.. which might be a pain.

Good ideas all around though!!
