Love Neca's work with the Aliens line.  This Newt is fantastic!  The only part I'm not thrilled about is that the helmet has this weird contouring thing to her hair that makes it impossible to sit right on Hick's head.  But a couple minutes with the dremel ought to take care of that.  (And yes, that's my custom Apone, as Al Matthews is unlikely to ever let them make a real one.)

I don't know how many times I have wished NECA would get a SW license. Great stuff.

I would actually consider buying the 6 inch line if it were made by NECA.  (Mostly because it would probably allow us to have kept the SA 3.75" figures....)

I picked up Shaun of the Dead and World War Z on Blu-Ray today at Target.

Oh and some clothes because I guess I'm an adult.

Edit:  Ended up selling some DVDs at a local comic shop. I used that money to buy a DVD set of the first 3 Indiana Jones films. Also picked up on Blu-Ray Band of Brothers and The Pacific.

Today I hit the Totowa TRU after work and found the final "Pacific Rim" Kaiju from Neca!

Hardship joins the rest of his fellow Kaiju in my collection :)

Definitely one of the toughest looking kaijus from Pacific Rim. I was so bummed to hear the movie was put back a bit.

I picked up 2 cheap lighters at a dollar store just for the metal front pieces.

I pried them off incredibly easily.

They will be used for a future custom project. Maybe as wall decorations or even as shields.

I went back to the dollar store from Saturday and grabbed the rest of the lighters that had cool metal front pieces. There were 2 additional designs I left behind because they were not cool enough.

I wish they had more of the ones with the snakes and the multiple skulls as I would have bought several more for future projects.

Sgcaper from www.joecustoms.com sent me a package full of awesome fodder!

The package contained 4 of the brand new Neca "Aliens" facehuggers from the just released Creature Pack, several different "G.I.Joe" arrows, a pair of 50th Anniversary Zartan legs and some "Marauder Task Force" armor plates.

Also knowing what a huge Grumpy Cat fan I am, he included a souvenir tin of Grumpy Cat mints from Yellowstone National Park! :)

I finally got a Schleich "Wild Life" Watering Hole diorama!

This completes my collection of the various "Wild Life" African elements. These dioramas will serve as an alien planet diorama with the right add-ons.

This set came with several great animals and fits seamlessly with the River, Waterfall and Cave dioramas
