I just finished the first book in the RC series.  I loved it, especially the part where Ghez was going to give Niner a "Mandalorian's honorable death".  I've started the second book.  They finally got their black Katarn Armor, but on a snowy planet.  Very funny.

I'm thirty pages into True Colors, and I must say, I am looking forward to what happens with Etain and her unborn son.

I read the last of the Darth Bane trilogy last week. It was pretty good. He learned the ole body transfer thing. I forget the title, but it was a good read.  I am trying to get some other Military Sci Fi books so I can get caught up.

Dynasty of Evil, Shawn.  I found it somewhat horrible that he was lost forever in the shadows of darkness, but then again, it was his choice to do so.

Maybe I got the wrong Sith. This one ended with him taking over his female apprentices body and getting a new apprentice.

You'll be surprised how it ends, Koty!

I don't mean to be Atin(Stubborn), but it also says on Wookiepedia, "Following a heated duel, Bane attempted to transfer his essence into Zannah's body. However, her will proved to be too strong and Zannah defeated him, ending the life of the Sith'ari, yet also validating herself as his successor. Nearly a millennium later, Bane's Sith Order would defeat the Jedi and overthrow the Republic."

LOL. Sounds like we are gonna have a debate. Remember how the first thing she did was check her one hand that Bane had problems with shaking? I think ole Bane got in there, but ofcourse wouldn't reveal he had that type of power to his new apprentice. It was probably written so folks could go either way. I do agree though that he introduced himself to his new apprentice as the gal.

How much do you want to bet that we will see future books with the ol gal showing quite a few of Bane's traits? It just good book selling idealology.

To be honest, I was very confused about this when I read it, and who knows if the article's author perceived it correctly?   ;D

I finished Fate Of the Jedi Allies a few weeks ago.
I am happy with the series as whole so far.
Some of the books are better than others, but the storyline as a whole flows well and I keep having to wait longer and longer for the next installment.
I reread the first 2 darth bane books and am starting the 3rd again.
As well as the Jedi versus Sith comic series. I do so love the earlier insight of the sith and the darkside.

Man, you guys need to throw in a spoilers warning on them posts. I don't even need to read the 3rd Darth Bane book now. It hasn't been released in paperback yet is why I haven't read it.
Anyways, I've been reading Omen, Fate of the Jedi series. The 1st book wasn't too good, but the 2nd one is getting better.

Sorry Mike, as you can see we still can't figure out the ending anyhow. We do need to remember not to talk about those things in open threads though. Very good point!

My apologies, as well.  I feel terrible for ruining the ending of a very well written book.

yeah, I'm looking forward to reading the 3rd Darth Bane book. I wish they would quit releasing books in hardcover, or at least release the Paperbacks simultaniously.  I mean, really, who can afford $20-$30 for a book? That's taking away from my collecting money!

Ain't that the truth. I will be honest, I just cheated and got it from the local library. I try to "encourage" them to get all the new SW books, not to mention enlarging thier Sci Fi books in general.
