Great Astros. My comments echo Jay's and are on the front page.

Thanks, guys!  I appreciate all the love!  Also, I've been a fan of this site for a couple of years now and I cannot express how awesome it is to see my stuff on the frontpage.  Simply mindblowing.

I'm not posting my figs in any order...some are years older than others & that may be reflected in paint styles.  I don't usually go back & re-do completed figs...so excuse the fact that there may not be any consistency as my style has evolved as I've learned.

  Protocols!

Love your droids!  Especially how you matched up some of your robots to their soldier, bounty hunter, or Droid counterparts.

Darth Optimus,
I'm scrolling through your thread for the first time and I think your work is great.  Nice job with paint applications from a technical standpoint.  Even more impressive is your boldness for trying new color schemes!

Love the coloring schemes on the protocol droids!  These are definitely the droids I was looking for!    :P

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Great update and thanks for posting some older stuff. It is cool to look back and see how you have grown with each new custom. Great looking astromechs and protocal droids.

Thanks, guys!  Here's sum'mo'!

This squad is the most Black Ops on the GAR roster.  And they aren't.  Shortly after the start of the Clone Wars, Palpatine commissioned the Kaminoans to create a team under the most secret of circumstances.  They answer only to him, and are kitted out with the most cutting-edge gear available.  Their armor is highly-resistant to all forms of energy (ion pulses, blaster bolts & lightsabers) as well as being stealth rated.  Palpatine's personal team, loosed on whomever he sees fit.  Sorta "prototypes" to The Emperor's Hands that would see service much later.
