After work Walmart clearance score!

These brand new "Halo" Ghosts were on clearance for $4.95 each (originally $19.98).

Due to the large shelf space the Ghost takes up, I will probably only be keeping 1 of them (for a pair with the one I got when they were first released) along with all of the Elite Warlord figures and trading off the 4 remaining Ghosts.

I got this Scalextric 1/32 Back to the Future themed slot car in the mail the other day. It is an analog car but supposedly has working lights. I need to throw some juice to it and see what lights come on. I think I have an extra chip I can use to make this one digital. It’s the same brand of that Mad Max interceptor I converted some time ago.
  I can see some blue led lights mounted correctly to partially simulate the 88MPH effect. An electrical sparking/flashing effect w white lights could be added with the right train set circuit

Clint, that Delorean looks awesome. I can see that going around your track dio. I see they are making a Transformer of that if you can believe it.

Awesome DeLorean! Id like to see it lit up too.

   I got my Super 7 Mars Attacks The Invasion begins figure. He comes with a ray gun and his helmet is removable to allow you to turn the head.  There are two others, burning flesh and Destroying a dog. These are based on the 1962 TOPPS Mars Attacks trading cards, as opposed to the movie, which I think is awesome. I'm an opener, but I actually like the card better than the figure, but I'm going to use the figure in my spaceport. I like that art style, like a cross between Flash Gordon and MAD. I liked it so much I ordered the 50th Anniversary collection hardback with all the cards and concept art. That'll arrive next week maybe.

Today's Big Lots (Star Wars set) and Walmart (everything else) clearance scores!

Everything was marked down! The Ghost (missed one in Garfield the other day LOL) and Star Wars sets were $5 each and the dinos were $2 each :)

I got my Super 7 Toad Chet from Weird Science.  It's such a cool figure. He's a decent size, bigger than I expected. His detail and paint apps are fantastic. Yeah it's 5poa, but he doesn't need any more than that. He's beautiful.
