Here is my latest custom figure! He is Kal Skirata, the Mandalorian officer from the Republic Commando novels. If you haven't read the books i suggest you do it, because you get some great info about commandos, arcs, and manalorians + they are very good books.

The figure isn't complete yet he has some more paint to be added and to get some more straight lines, but I have been painting the hole day and wanted to show him to you! Enjoy! =)

Kal Skirata
Kal Skirata, born Falin Mattran, sometimes called Kal'buir (Mando'a for "Papa Kal") by the clone commandos that he trained. He was a Mandalorian instructor for clone commandos in the Grand Army of the Republic. After being orphaned, he was adopted by Munin Skirata. As Skirata grew up, he became the husband of Ilippi Skirata, the biological father of Tor, Ijaat, and Ruusaan Skirata. He would also become the adopted buir of Omega Squad and the Null-class Advanced Recon Commandos.

"I can train them."
?Kal Skirata the first time he sees the Nulls

"He cared what happened to us. He was one of us, pretty much. Not just there because he couldn't cope with not being in the army anymore, or had to disappear. No, he was a good man."

From Wookieepedia:

Robert Hendrickson's illustrations of Kal Skirata for Star Wars Insider bear a close resemblance to actor Ed Harris. Kal Skirata was supposed to have a toy, but the toymakers Hasbro couldn't get a head that met the aesthetic designs that author Karen Traviss envisioned for her character, so the toy head was changed and the figure became Mij Gilamar, which was later added into the Clone Commando books.

After reading that i made this custom, i thought that he deserves to be a figure in my collection ;)

A well-built sniper rifle is a beautiful thing. Ours has two zoom modes, "Up close and personal" and "Hello, you're dead

Thanks for all the great feedback! Made another custom Mandalorian today. This figure is a Jango Fett from the AOTC line and I got it from my brother a couple of years ago. Not the best figure to make custom from. My younger brother used to play with this figure and by accident he broke it. That's why i painted it and made it into a custom! I didn't put that much effort in it but wanted to share it with you! Enjoy!
