clone trooper & clone commander comic pack

I found this pack at the Jedi Con 2010.  It is part of the final retail wave of Comic Packs. Other packs from this wave are 212th clone trooper & clone lieutenant, Stormtrooper & Blackhole hologram, T'ra Saa & Tholme and
Ulic Qel-Droma & Exar Kun.

Infomation from the card:
After receiving Order 66, the clone troopers in Bogey Squad hunt down Jedi General Quinlan Vos. The squad searches the forests of Kashyyyk to find and eliminate their former commander, who is now considered a traitor to the Republic. The troopers are highly skilled, but they are up against a resourceful quarry.

The Comic:
It is a DARK HORSE COMICS comic and part of the Star Wars REPUBLIC novel (number 83). It is very interesting and shows the struggle for survival of Quinlan Vos in the forests of Kashyyyk after Order 66. Number of pages: 22

The clone commander
The clone commander is a kit-bashed figure, using the body of a standard phase II clone trooper and a shoulder pauldron. He is similar to commander Appo from the 501st.
The camo is new and looks awesome. He comes with a DC-15s blaster.
articulation: he is super articulated with ball- jointed neck, ball-hinged shoulders, ball-hinged elbows, swivel wrists (or forearms), ball-hinged torso, swivel hips, ball-hinged knees and ball-hinged ankles.

The clone trooper:
The clone trooper is based on the 30th AC Kashyyyk trooper. This time arround he has a removable helmet (like commander Faie) and the head sculpt which is normally used for the Galactic Marine figures. He comes with the bulky DC-15 blaster rifle and a DC-15s blaster.
articulation: he is also super articulated

So a great pack for all clone fans, especially from the 41st.

rating: 9,5/10

A well-built sniper rifle is a beautiful thing. Ours has two zoom modes, "Up close and personal" and "Hello, you're dead

No prblem Trev, I was also very surprised to see this pack in Germany. I'm sure you can find it online (ebay etc.).
I hope I can also pick up the 212th comic pack and the Blackhole stormie pack. It is too bad that this the final wave of comic packs from Hasbro.

Thanks for the awesome review, FF! I also want these so badly.
Can you confirm that the clone trooper with the gm head has a larger helmet than the one that comes with comic pack faie?

No problem Clint.
I'm not sure about the helmet size, because I don't have the Faie pack yet. I think it is a bit larger.
