Thanks guys, I am glad some of the writers have chimed in and approve. I was hoping it didn't get too crazy, I had few more things in place but removed them as it would become too much of a diorama. When I made the center part it didn't look quite right because it needed to be contained, it looked odd standing alone. So the back piece is styrofoam packing piece greeblied up a bit. There again I wanted to do more but didn't want to be looked at as too much of a diorama. I just used parts that seemed to make sense for an ancient super computer and try to keep it down to pieces that would accomplish the things written about the "figure." This again is all trash to treasure using free styrofoam, happy meal toys, a few pieces from thrift store for 15 cents ea. and random bits from the fodder bins. There are 2 pieces used from SW toys. One is from a vehicle the other from a playset. Can you find them?
Shawn, I brainstormed this for about 2 hrs in the middle of a pile of fodder that could be held in 3 big walker boxes. Then spent about 2 hrs a day for the last 7 days figuring out detail parts, gluing stuff together, painting, setting up, changing things, drybrushing all the silver, final touches. Then I spent about 4 hrs cleaning up, setting up for pics, and photographing. It was a lot of fun and a very different subject for me.
