Tru Exclusive Clone Commander Ponds

As seen in the Ryloth episodes of season one, Commander Ponds was one of my favorite CW characters. I even did a couple of customs of him. Well now, there is a TRU exclusive figure of him at the slightly elevated price of $9.99.
Complete with the super artyness we now expect in a CW clone figure, Ponds comes with a long rifle, two small pistols that fit in his side holsters, and a removable helmet. The ball mounted head which appears to be a repaint of Rex's head features a convincing 5-oclock shadow on his face and scalp the likes of which I have never seen before on a SW figure.
  You gotta have this one for your Clone Wars collection!

Even though I have a custom Ponds, I might have to pick one up seeing that it's helmet comes off.

I know what you mean.  The Hasbro version always has something about it that doesn't compare to a custom.

TRU.com still has these and when I was at my local TRU there were about 15 on the pegs, if anyone can't find one drop me a line, I may be able to help.

I really love clones and the many repaints of them for some reason this one doesn't do much for me.  except the stubble chin, that's an awesome touch.   none of that is to say I'll pass the figure up if I see one but I'm certainly not going seraching for it, in stores or online.   frankly it's better if I don't find one, this stuff is all starting to rack up serious heat on my wallet...
