I think that makes perfect sense as all real used guns have this effect. It is making me wonder if this could ever be truly done on a three and three quarter scale too and I have seen some great work along those lines, but nothing with that real weathered away gun metal feel like this. Its probably more of a size thing though.

The 1:6 Stormtrooper blaster which comes with various Sideshow 12" figures has a very nice weathering considering its small size.

I just got the Gentle Giant 12" Jumbo Vintage Kenner Stormtrooper - that is an ugly Stormtrooper :D ... but I love it:

Indeed LOL. wish the brow trim was painted like the small 3" version and also to have a shiny armor instead of this dull appearance... But overall really nice. Now I need to get a real vintage 12" Kenner Stormie...

I finally upgraded my converted Sterling blaster further with a real Eagle Hengstler. One more step in making it complete, not that it wasn't complete before, since as I already said, it was accurate to a specific scene from ANH, where Han shoots the comm panel in the detention area, and there his blaster doesn't have Hengstler, just cylinders. The next step might be to upgrade the cylinders with the newly discovered TCC capacitors and maybe the dual wires.

It's like the customizers here but on a prop replica :)

Thanks Shawn. An AT-AT Driver can carry an E-11 without any problem. Many 501st AT-AT drivers are using Stormtrooper blasters.
