Another great update. I am only slightly disappointed about dropping to one pilot but I believe the lights will make it worth the trade.

I hear you.  I REALLY wanted a two pilot team for this thing and tried many different configurations to keep it that way with this cockpit but it was slowing down my progress.  This 2 pilot issue has been the thing that bothers me most about this build. I've been tempted to rework the cockpit completely but I'm not  sure I will be going that route. Then again,  I never know what kind of mood I may get in.  Crazier things have been known to happen.

IDK if i'd agree on the trade off for the lights or not on this one...  I REALY liked the two man cockpit design when you had it back to back.  The phantom in the literature was always crewed by two pilots as well.... (best I recall). 

I would think that you'd have plenty of room in the back of the ship to install the necessary wiring and lighting without sacrificing the second pilots space...  I just feel like, at first glance anyway, the ship now looks way too bulky for just one pilot.  but that's just my opinion, it is your vehicle after all and without seeing it in hand and being able to realy judge how much space you have to work with on the inside of the ship I can't make an accurate assumption about the lighting.

What are you going to be using for lighting?  what parts are you trying to get ligthed?

OK, Clonehead and SpudaFett have inspired me to take another look at the two pilot, snowspeeder configuration and I think it may work out.  It will make the lighting a bit trickier but I'll cross that when I get to it. Only thing now is that it's a bit cramped and the pilot seats need to be removable to make this work which I don't think is a problem. I'll have some image updates soon.

that ship is amazing.i think it's something that's beyond my custom skills ATM.I can't say i've moved into the vehicle customizing dept yet,hope to one day,but the stuff you guys put out there is awesome,and always enjoy seeing what can be done.enjoyed the podcast,and sorry it got cut out.hope to hear more about your work the next time you're on,as would everyone i'm sure.great job on this,and your other work i've seen here.love those custom stormys too.it's good to see a stormtrooper with a little more gear on them then what the normally have.hope to do a few like that myself soon.
