Finally, finally, finally! After destroying 4! attempts to build a X-Wing I build one that I liked enough to show on this forum...
I made some quick pictures to show on Twitter, but I will make better ones for my blog. For now I show you the sneak peak pictures that I have until now:

The landing gear on the front is detachable so when flying this will not been seen.

My son plays the Hott scene a lot! He uses the space below a chair in our living room as the Hott base hangar... I love it to sit on that chair while he is playing and just listen to the adventures that are happing below me :)
