Hi guys, here are some pictures of some figures and vehicle that Iam going to customize hopefully soon. The vehicle is from the GI Joe toy line, its the cobra gunship. There going to be a pilot and two troopers, so soon as I finish it I will have the pictures up.
-
This is next for me as well, as soon as I'm done with my hunter seeker driod fighter. I love the gunship though.
-
Not sure what I'm going to do yet, but I'm excited on starting it.
-
Looking forward to seeing how these shape up Mal great to see a new custom from you mate ;D
-
Thanks, cant wait myself.
-
I'm trying to get one of those too(through a trade right now), can't wait to see what you guys do with it.
-
i'm considering using a g.i. joe gunship in a custom project so i'll be watching with interest....
-
I have been looking at picking up one of those also.I can imagine slapping a couple of large engine pods on that sucker.
-
This is next for me as well, as soon as I'm done with my hunter seeker driod fighter. I love the gunship though.
I always thought that the cobra gunship and the hunter seeker was very similar in design and could be made into a realy nice custom set, a manned fighter with a droid support ship or something like that...
If these ever go on sale at wal-mart (which I'm sure they will) I'm definately going to get one! the cobra gunship and the blue fire-bat nock off are the only two vehicles in that line that I think I'd even mess with... MAYBE the sharc, the one man submersible... idk...
-
I have plans for a Cobra Gunship, as soon as I manage to acquire one.
-
same here, I have an ambitious project in mind to widen one
-
Hi guys, well i finished the ship I hope you like it. Its my first attempt at a custom ship and also at weathering , so I hope you like.
-
Very nice! I like that ship and your paint and weathering looks great.
-
That looks sweet Mal, Ace job on the paint work mate!! nice first ship custom you should be proud ;D
-
Thanks. Going to start on the figures soon. Not sure on what to call the ship, any ideas.
-
Looks very slick!
-
I think CRG would be a nice name for it
combat reconnaisance glider
-
excellent mate and like the idea of putting the clone wars miniguns to good use
-
oh yeah, expect this on the fp soon. Nice work.
-
thanks guys.
-
Very nice. Good additional weapons and great paint and weathering.
I like the transition from Joe to SW vehicle.
This one does have lots of potential....
-
I got a name for it now. I'm going to call it the S.O.A.R ( Special Operation Armed Reconnaissance ). Its part of the 118Th Imperial Dropship Regiment. Its used for special operation, Recon, Air support and ground attack. I hope you like.
-
Special Operations.
-
I love it! and that settles it... I'm getting one of those suckers. That color looks fantastic on it! and I love the added clone guns to the wings! they look like they are suposed to be there.
-
Thanks it turned really well. Cant wait to do some more.
-
Finally got this one on the fp where it belonged. Nice work. I like the heavy firepower of this one too.
-
Wow, your S.O.A.R. turned out great, OOfire! I love those outdoor pics. Did I miss where those republic symbols came from?
-
great job on that custom!!
I love the green color, and you did a great job on the extra weapons.
-
Very, very nice.
Those gunships are rare over here, but I might be able to pick up a different vessel at marked-down price tonight.
-
thanks guys.
-
Man, thanks for the video. It really brings all of your work to life! Gret job!
-
Hi guys, picked up another Gi Joe vehicle today which I'm going to customize into a star wars vehicle. Hope to start tomorrow.
-
looks very interesting mate
can't wait to see first pics
-
Hi guys, just finished my custom vehicle, I hope you like. I'm really happy on how it turned out. Havent picked a name yet, so I hope you guys can help me out. Also what type of role the vehicle is would be good and then I will upload a video on youtube. Thanks
-
That looks very slick mate awesome job!!! i like it!!
-
Nice work! That was quick, buddy.
-
that looks utterly wicked mate
-
the repaint is amazing, but I would change a few things to make it fit better into the star wars verse.
take off the tank treads and replace them with some kind of repulsor manifold.
as for it's role, it's a light anti personel/aircraft vehicle.... just adapt the version of the Gi-Joe card information to make it work for star wars.
-
very cool, the weathering is great
I like your AA vehicle
-
Very nice, it looks great.
-
Thanks guys, wasn't sure on what to do with the tank treads, any ideas on what I can use?
-
Hi guys, Have a name for it now, going to call it the I.S.A.V Infantry support armoured vehicle. Hope you like.
-
Really nice. Looks star wars too. I agree with Spudafett but i have no idea how you could install wheels onto the bottom...maybe from a fighter tank or AAT? Really fantastic!!
-
I think it looks great,
As for the treds, there is nothing wrong with them, in the SW universe we see all types of mechanisms for motion, they don;t have to be on repulsors, you have the Walkers, which are slow and cumbersome, the turbo tank is on wheels,. so who's to say treds are no good, it works for the tank droid.
-
I think this looks great, FP bound.
-
I like the four guns, reminds me of the falcon quad cannon. Another fine custom OO
-
Thanks guys.
-
Hi guys, just started a new project. I'm going to custom repaint my At-St ,starting now so wish me luck. Here's some pictures so far.

-
Haven't got the new at-st yet and the one I'm using is from the ultimate battle pack , Battle of hoth.
-

-

-
Looks great. Front page again.

That's a great paint job, and the images are stunning. I love the shot with the stormtroopers slightly blurrd in the foreground, the walker looks so realistic.
