I will pick up that Vader probably though probably more for the blaster hand than whatever that other getting blasted hand looks like. I think Hasbro could have done a bit better job with that.

Why did they change the good LC Wedge/Brannon body back to the short Luke Body? Iam getting mad! On the first pictures he had the good, high Body and now even the tall Biggs is going to be a short Kid...
And whats with the shoulders of the Scout again? Black stripes on them? And Luke looks like he has to short legs. Oh come on... makes me real sad to see how clumsy they are working...

... nah i get another Portman. Go Portman!

The only changes on the Luke from its TAC incarnation is a new head sculpt, hands, and holster.  They clearly are reusing old tooling here as well.

The Biggs doesn't appear to be the short Luke body, but that left leg pocket does seem a bit 'poofy', like the X-Wing Luke from 2008.

I'll pick up a Biggs, a couple of Lukes (for customs), and a Padme, but the rest of this wave stinks.  Too many clones and troopers in one wave: space them out Hasblo!    bbfet

Aren't those typically shipped like in the last wave of a series (excl TVC)?  I'm still burned about the last couple of EU waves.   I got only 4 of the Legacy EU wave and I'd love Star Killer.

Still looking for a Shae Vizla and Starkiller myself.

Well i was lucky with Starkiller and Vizla got SK in exchange for a ERG and 1 MOC Vizla for 12 bucks at a store and a lose one for 12 from the German Forum.
I dunno what hasbro has done so that i have never seen a Nikto, Han Bespin, ARC Trooper or tarkin in the Shops but was flooded with RTs/ERGs/Bastilas, while the guys in southern Germany were able to get them self a couple of ARCs, Vizlas, Starkillers and so on but they dont get ERG/RTs. I mean Germany is not THAT big, and not even here we get the same figures in all areas.

Back to the Biggs: i don't know what looks wrong, well the shoes are inverted to the LC John Body but over all he looks shorter, more like the TVC Wedge.
Have you seen new Pictures of Wave 2? I wonder if Hasbro has noticed that they have a better A-Wing Pilot Body than the LC one...

A EU Wave would have been great, still waiting for some Video Game Figures like Jan Ors, Jerec, Carth, Sariss, little Trandoshans and mostly: Neo Crusaders and Sith Warriors.

I don't care too much for the Biggs either (or much outside of the Padme), but I don't think that's a short body like Luke/Wedge.

That's about the ONLY reason I'd buy ANY of these figs.  Maybe Padme for customs but otherwise, it's just the same old thing.  Kind of sad

Oh didn't know there were new saga legends.....haven't seen them in stores yet.  Also have not seen the Mission Series, hoping the buyers in retail saw what the rest concluded....these are peg warmers like the Iron Man and Superman figures.

Saw Wave 1 tonight at 2 different TRUs (Totowa and Wayne), just sitting on the topmost middle peg amidst several pegs of unsold Clone Wars figs. They had the entire wave, I guess no one noticed them up there which is why they were untouched.

Went to 3 Targets in my area, only one had any black series and someone who looked like he was my dad's age went by and put all of them in his cart, lol .  Fine by me cause I'm looking for another Sandtrooper 6 inch to trade with a friend.

HAHA! Wow then that's a double fail for Hasbro. I'm thinking of getting this figure just to customize it and make it right.

Before when you typed in "the black series"  the 3 3/4 figures along with the 6" figures would show up.  The 3 3/4 figures were listed as coming soon.....now they are not listed at all.  Usually when they sell out they still appear but say sold out.  Now they don't show up at all.....even typed in "star wars" and went through all the pages, no 3 3/4 figures at all.

Thanks Rune, still no sighting of the 6 inch series.

Hey, you hearing that the bubbles are separating from the cards? I see some sites reporting that they are starting to tape the top of the bubbles to the cards.

I just checked my Vader. He is tape free. It will be interesting to see how long these stay on the pegs before they either tape em or they start separating from the bubble.

Oh...maybe that's why hasbrotoyshop took them down.....i'm sure they are aware that taping the bottom of the bubble would really tick off most collectors and not to mention retailers if the figure fell off the card.

Exactly what I was thinking LOL.

In other news the craptasticly underarticulated figs made an appearance locally finally.  Not much to see and comment on other than I'm getting an advanced look at what the clearance isle will be looking like next year.

Picked up Black Series #05 Yavin Ceremony Luke Skywalker. Despite the lack of ankle articulation he is a great figure. They did use the same exact parts/mold for the arms, jacket, and legs. The torso, hands, and head are new. And the holster and blaster are new as well. One more thing the medal around his neck is new or different than the previous one also. The seller for this figure to me is the head sculpt. It appears to be totally new. I think it would look good on any ESB Luke figure.

i had heard about the problems with bubble seperation with this wave but found a terrible scene full of crushed bubbles at my closest walmart last week   The entire display of black series 3 3/4 figures was crushed in some form or another but Padme here was the worst for wear. I had to take a shot. Do you think these will fly off the shelves like this, or go on clearance if, that is, they can make it to the clearance isle without falling off the card.

Strangely enough the main store at the base I live on in Okinawa actually had wave one of the 3.75 as well as the other "kid" line and, while it doesn't really matter (because of where I am), to echo Zedhatch there is very little peg space going to the 3.75 black series but quite a bit going to the "kid friendly" line. No 6 inch figures here and while I haven't seen any damaged packaging I have noticed the glue issue both with the ones I got for myself as well as one of the ones I picked up for my son...not sure what that's all about but it does seem pretty common.

While I was on my six inch hunt today I tried tracking down a few figures for some buds and saw some horrible cards and bubbles. They were literally just falling off the cards. I saw at toysrus that they were either taping them on with scotch tape or even using a stapler. I sure hope Hasbro addresses this for wave two!

Pretty cool seeing your pegs Laojax. I like the model sets there in the upper left too. Too bad they put the price stickers on the bubbles! Hopefully the bubbles stay on the cards better than they have been here in the states!
