Devin, I love this self portrait custom you've done.  It's so close to reality it's eerie!  Your trenchcoat looks slick too!

Great to see a Yank dressed in an Aussie trench coat looks like a "drizabone" to me...
looks wicker'd on ya mate!!
giddy up cowboy...

A well-built sniper rifle is a beautiful thing. Ours has two zoom modes, "Up close and personal" and "Hello, you're dead

The company I got it from called it an "Aussi oilskin drover coat", but "drizabone" sounds awesome (and much more fitting, this thing does in fact keep me dry as a bone)! thanks mate!  I got it online from a company in colorado called the austrailian saddle company....

BTW us kentucky born southerners don't take kindly to bein called yanks, that's a name for them city slicker northerners! ;)

Spuda, I've recently been searching the net for new ideas for custom characters by looking at Steampunk costumes. There seems to be a great community out there, and lots of luurvely ladies into it as well...man if I wasn't married I'd get myself a Captain Reynolds trench coat and all of the paraphernalia and get myself over to a convention sharpish!!!

I love your coat!

Oh and the dinosaur set up is most excellent too!

yeah there is a big steampunk community out there.  I'm currently working on a mando costume though....  so we'll see where that takes me.

the dino is from TRU.  it's a schleich brand appatosaurus.  The saddle is custom made from spare strips of pleather with bits of stretch cord for part of the harness and the stirrups.

Gotcha!  I like it.  Good work on the saddle.  That's a topic I know NOTHING about - but am going to have to *learn* if I ever get around to doing a riding critter.
