I hate it when I see cool stuff like this because it makes me want to go to the store right now and do one like it.  I've thought of taking my remote control boat and do something similar but it is not quite 3 3/4 scale.  Good stuff, man.

Thanks for the great comments guys. It has been a lot of fun making it and even more fun playing with it in the pool with Jaxon. We also picked up a decent size boat for Cobra at Big Lots and it looks great with no modification. We ave had some epic battles at sea that is for sure.

I love that boat, my buddy Bill used to drive one of those.. too sweet... I've always wanted to make one for him, I have a GI Joe boat, a little bigger than that one, gonna use it.

Oh, and got your M.O. I threw in a couple extra vehicles for ya.. make sure you make something cool out of them.. one was a hovercraft/boat thingie... ;)

Thanks Joe, cool that you know someone that drives one of these. I would love for him to see it and let me know if he has any suggestions or thoughts on it. You are the best man, thanks for the extras you threw in. You can rest assured I will cook something up for them.

Good lord!!  You put a friggin Ontos mount on a PBR???  "Stupidly cool and totally Joe!" comes to mind...  Where did you get the gun-system?  Love the mods to make it float - excellent engineering.  Overall, very much a Joe-looking craft.

Thanks Doc, glad you found this thread. The gun system came with the boat so I did nothing there. Glad you like her and think it fits in with other Joe vehicles.

I think the AA sweet for the back of the boat is awesome. I don't think it is that big at all. Wow, what a great construction. Expect to see this featured in a few days.

Thanks Julian and Tamer. We sure have had fun with this thing!

I would have loved to have something like this as a kid that really floated. I could see my trying to figure out how to make a working propeller in it!
