Thanks guys and Liltofett, funny you posted the old pics as I have been thinking about selling that tank. It was a fun project and my son and I have played with it many times in the past but I am running out of room and could use the money. So it may end up in my sale thread.

Hey triple S, ha ha it's cool man, no worries, and thanks for the facial mask tip. I think it came out OK for my first try but want to improve on the shape of the wear. Only a few spots are circular and I want more of a ripped look. What do you apply the mask with? I used a Q-Tip and a sculpting tool to get a jagged look.

So yesterday I finished up the interior. All I had to do was paint the few details molded on the ship then add a few of my own. After it was painted and sealed with Flat clear I added a few small jewels to simulate lights.

Is that a light grey or a white with washes on the main part of the body? Also I am assuming you use the chipping technique for the red line?

Sadly I didn't go all out on this part as you can't see these details very well when you put it back together. Unless you try real hard...

So then I decided I would take a few comparison shots of what I started with.

So now that I am done with Tamers Concept Snowspeeder it is time for a long break, ha yea right, what do you think this is a government agency? I'll be hammering away on AFE's Z'cepter and have more progress shots on that before too long. Not to mention I am always working on things for SW Apocalypse. I know I have not been giving you any WIP images of what I make for that verse so today I am going to drop a little teaser on you and just say that this one will be pretty big.

Anyone want to play name that part?

I primed the entire vehicle, sprayed it silver, used the peeling mask technique, sprayed it white, more peeling mask, taped off the gray areas, and kept repeating the steps with the orange spripe being the last paint applied. When everything is dry get rid of the tape, use your finger to rub/peel off the mask then seal everything. Lastly I weathered it with pastels. Hope that answeres your question!

It does, I guess my hardest part is finding the right color paint from Walmarts Krylon...not going to invest in a spray gun yet

Yes, I agree, that is all I use. The orange I found at a local discount store called Ollies.

krztfr, It was actually gloss, but that doesn't concern me as I seal everything withe multiple layers of dull cote. It will tone it down in the end.

Barry, thanks man. Yea I did this a while back and it is in Tamers possession now.

Wardog,no doubt it would be cool to see one in your diorama! I do commissions if you are interested and am doing anything I can to raise money for C6.

I still love looking at that speeder. My sister used Pastels on her Doll customs(laugh now, but if you see them, you'd want to give up on customizing forever, lol)... I still have some from back in the day.. are they just reg chalk pastels? I'm tempted to try that out on my tumbler.
