Thanks friends, it too feel she is beginning to shape up. Now to answer some questions.

Smeagol, the Faleen is just a bit short, and is a female, but honestly most of the other figures are a bit tall. Some of them were made years ago when Pirates of the Caribean figures were out for the second film and will be revised now that I have new fodder that is perfect thanks to Gwest!

Kfrztfr, I used hot glue for the the floor. I felt it was mo only choice as there were gaps to be filled between the 2 surfaces.

Shawn, you are right and I have been wondering if those rare earth magnets would hold the 2 halves to the hinges so I could pull it apart.

r1b, then we are even. Same reaction I had when I saw that Hoth dio!

Brian, I did manage to get a second color on it but still much more to do.

Jules, thanks my friend, that is  a huge compliment coming from you.

Thanks botwt.

I have some pics of the rust color I added to the outside of the ship. I need to even out the red look on the back of her by adding some hammered metal in areas. Then there will be several washes and weathering. I also want to have storage bins and bags hanging on the sides. Still much more to do.

Your hard work on the color paid off. So far, looking great! I'm hoping that Hasbro will release a proper Khetanna sail barge; perhaps when ROTJ 3D comes out. Prolly wishful thinking.
Again, loving the progress.

I do so agree this is making me jones for a Sail Barge, heck this would sell like hotcakes.

I can just imagine a picture of this in a vintage themed box. I would buy a dozen. Nice work Spry. Having seen some of your paint work and accesory work from before I can just guess where you are going next and  how great this will look when you officially call it finished. I wonder if anyone will beat me to the front page with this update tomorrow?

Avast! Tis becoming a fine pirate's vessel she is! No quarter given to land lubbers! We'll trow 'em in the brig or run them up the mizzen mast... Yarrrrrrhhhh!

Amazing so far. I really like the use of Bionicle parts for the cargo claws/grappling hooks.

Spry, that is sharp as Hell!  The color does look good, though I still think Pink was the way to go!  The grabbers up front look great too.  Looking forward to seeing the next update on this.

Thanks guys and DO, good eye man.

AFE, you have the idea.

r1b, you are right about an official sail barge.

Ok this is what I got side tracked on Friday after a trip to the thrift store. It was a Power Rangers electronic device as best I cold tell. I removed the bottom and battery compartment with a screwdriver. Then I had to cut out, dremel and sand the top to get the opening in the top. I also had to make a styrene bottom for it and used an old container that held fabric pins for landscape fabric. Next I used a drill to start the blaster marks and finished them off with a box cutter. Next It was sanded, primed and painted a medium to dark brown. Then I gave it 3 washes in black to achieve the color I wanted. Never took time for WIP pics until now and all I have left to do is finish the comand console.

You can see the original brown color on the bac of the handrails. I need to do the washes on them and the inside in a few places. Still figuring out the one or two small guns for the front.

Wow Spry, you never cease to amaze. I take it this is gonna be a small craft that is part of your overall Sail Barge. Either way, nice addition to your custom mini rigs.

Neat lil' skiff.  I like the use of one of the Bith band's musical instruments as the control panel!

The skiff is a great assessory to this mammoth...but now I can see the sides clearer I think it would of been cool to drill out the circle windows or add guns coming out of them
