Wouldn't it be cool to go find one of those cameras and make you own lightsaber like he did!

some of the prop makers already use the original Graflex and parts to make Luke's saber. :) This is the closest thing to the real prop which was used on screen. This way you can make the various OT lightsabers, blasters, various props and studio scales

I have this box filled with parts to make a  lightsaber. I have some graflex and some other vintage flash parts. Not the actual flash that was used for the prop, but enough parts to facsimile a good forgery.
(actually, the flash i have was used as a part in Luke's X Wing cockpit )  Just like R.C., I want to create something that has the S.W. feel and look, make it my own and personal and make it out of stuff lying around.
