Lucky I came back when I did, first I ever heard of this...to be honest Id rather have another Rogue Squadron game coz I think Im one of the few that loved the ground missions, but Im sure Ill open up to it once we see screenshots :)

i love the rogue squadron games on the gamecube the death star level on the first game especially the trench run it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end!

Guys, this is the reason we have a Rogue Squadron. Lucasarts made its bread and butter off of this series. I ought to show you guys how many discs were in this series. I sure wish I had an old comp to be able to still play them. They really were state of the art when first released.

I never moved up to Rogue Squadron...

If only LucasArts would bring out a new Xwing game. I spent weeks trying to get my old copy of XWing Alliance to work properly on my Vista PC and now I've even tweaked it to work in widescreen resolution.  I have never enjoyed a game so much before or since, I got totally immersed in the Star Wars Universe like no other game. It is a testament to the game that there are still modders out there working on it 10 years after it was released. It's still the best Star Wars game out there in my opinion.

I rarely play games any more, every so often I load up XWA, or Homeworld or Battle of Endor, that's it...nothing else does it for me.

BRING BACK X'WING!!!!

In fact, X-Wing is even older: 16 years! And still its gameplay hasn't been equalled by any other SW game. Dare we hope for a next-gen version of this awesome game? According to this article from August 2009 we might....
