So, it's been a minute, but I wanted to share this with you guys. It's 2 Imperial Combat Assault Tanks flanking the hand of the fallen Jedi Statue on Jedha. The tanks are Bandai 1/144 scale, and the hand is actually my own, which I molded in Play-doh and cast in plaster.
It was a fun little project. As always, more pics and info here: http://www.rebelscale.com/models/star-wars-dioramas/jedha-statue-imperial-escalation/ (http://www.rebelscale.com/models/star-wars-dioramas/jedha-statue-imperial-escalation/)
Thanks for viewing and enjoy!!!

Wow, I really like this. Stunning work work!
-
Thank you guys!

How cool is this?! Your idea deserves a price, man! The diorama just looks so awesome - especially your hand - I mean the one of the fallen Jedi! It looks as if it was taken right off screen! The cracks, edges and other details look incredibly realistic!
My favourite detail is the AT-ST dome on the Assault Tank!
Thank you so much for sharing!

With all seriousness, it's just beautiful! The overall aesthetics of your diorama is excellent and as I said, the idea of casting your own hand is brilliant! The cast does look like actual stone and makes it look just like Jeedha in Rogue One.So most respect for that one!
I've been looking for some suitable statues to use for a Jedi/Sith temple for years now. Guess 3D-printing brings the solution...

The hand idea is great! I hope you don't mind if I try something similar...

Well, thank you. For statues, you might want to try a 2-part silicone-rubber mold. Then use some kind of plaster like I did. You wouldn't have the little topographic rings like you get with most 3D prints.

Thank you. Go for it, man. Let me know how it works for you. Best!

Phenomenal dio.
It is awesome that you immortalised your own hand in this awesome little diorma.
I also like the combat assault tank resued as an armoured transport vehicle for an AT-ST head.
Excellent work.

Thanks man. It means a lot.
Yeah, I love the idea of Imperials moving walker parts around. And those little Assault Tanks seem perfect as resupply vehicles.
Best!
