The new new dates have been announced, hotel blocks have sold out and we have less than a year to save and plan.
Now the fun can begin!!
Who's planning on attending?
Going in costume?
Where will you be staying?
What do you hope to find for your collection?
Any inside information on the celebrations exclusives?
-
With all the covid stuff happening I just never looked into it to be honest.
Now that we are two days from being able to go out again (every in the family is vacinnated) I am regretting not looking into it a bit more.
When are the dates again?
-
May 26th-29th.
Like you Tamer this falls toward the end of the school year.
I have given my administration a years notice that I will be
out of the classroom for 4 days as I will be arriving on the 25th
and coming home on the 30th.
Hope you can be there.
-
Am I the only one from the Shipyards that's planning on attending?
-
Thats awesome! Take plenty of pictures and post them.
I'm not even going to the comic con here in Richmond. There's nowhere to park and Uber is stupid high to go downtown. Last time I went downtown it cost me $70 to get home. Screw them.
-
Heck we aren't even going in stores or restaurants or things like that now that the numbers are back up again. It would sure be nice though.
Man, that would pretty much be the last days of the year for my schedule too. Hmm....
-
Whether you plan to attend Celebration or not your gonna love the rules and regulations that have been put in place by reed pop.

-
Oh I am sure I will.
Did you get your hotel stuff figured out?
-
My hotel stuff has been figured out.
I politely told the hilton corp. to stuff it in their left ear.
It was so nice of the folks at the rabid mouse house to air the 1st episode of Kenobi
during Celebration. If my hotel doesn't carry disney plus I may have to wait until the following Monday to finally be able to see it.
As usual I'm unable to understand the logic of of the airheads at dippy disney.
Since they were going to push back the initial air date anyway why not choose the following week??
That way the show could have been one of the main themes for Celebration.
There could have been toy exclusives, a Kenobi panel and a final trailer to pump up the fan base.
-
Yeah, thats what I thought too. Wouldn't that encourage folks not to go to Celebration?
-
i don't think anyone who really wants to attend will be persuaded to stay home so they can watch Kenobi.
If the rabid rodent inc. were to handle this situation correctly (please try to stop laughing)
they would set up viewing areas in every room possible and air the episode a number of times throughout the day of the 27th.
-
Or maybe use a smartphone.
-
The panels schedule has been published.
The bad batch babysitters panel is being held on Sunday.
Do you find it interesting as I do that this panel is on the last day of celebration.
The day with the fewest number of attendees???
-
Ron, I envy you. Which ones are you going to try and go too?
-
Hopefully,
Ian McDiarmid: An Audience with The Emperor
The History of Star Wars Cosplay
Star Wars: Attack of the Clones 20th Anniversary Celebration
I am C-3PO with Anthony Daniels
Star Wars: The Clone Wars Siege of Mandalore Screening. The cinematic final chapter of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." The four episode arc will be presented on the Celebration Stage on Sunday, May 29th at 1:00pm.
The Clone Wars 4 episode arc is the one I want to see the most.
So far the only BIG BIG BIG name actors to appear are Ian McDiarmid and Ewan McGregor.
It's still unknown who else will be there or what the most popular panel will be.
-
Sounds like a great line up to me. It is almost time!
-
That sounds really good. I'm glad conventions like this are allowed to happen again. Celebration Europe II here in Essen in was an amazing experience for me and I know that will be one of the memories I will take with me when I become one with the force.
I wish you unforgettable moments this year as well.
