Wow, I like both, but that Texaco Droid is FTW! So awesome. Man, couldn't you see that one on the ole landing deck. Just a great job on both.

Loving those Gonk droids!

Thank you!

I love the light! Great job. They totally fit in in Galgrebaa

Thank you! Yeah they'll fit right in to what I have planned. The light is a Beehive tail light from some 50s model car. I bought a ton of loose model parts way back. Finally used it

Thank you! Yeah I like the Futurama one the best myself. Yeah verizon didn't want the phone back. They said if it was in working condition they'd give me money for it, but if it was in working condition, I wouldn't need a new one. SMH. but all those little connectors make cool outlets and whatnot.

Your Gonk droids are amzing.
My favorite is HO-9 with the water cooled generator. The weathering looks very realistic.

Excellent work.

Thank you! I figure a mining droid would be pretty beat up.

Yuup droid is reddey! I built yet another Gonk using the saga one. I got one more after this and that's it, I promise.  I had to glue the feet together, because of the dumb walking feature, that prohibits the droid from standing. Then i cut off the button on the side and greebled it up. I base coated with black, then yellow. I don't know why my yellow spray is coming out so thin, I need a new can. It's just weathered. It's been used, screwed, bruised and tattooed.

HO-12 was a larger version of the HO-9, with a gas cooled generator. He ran on liquified Tibanna. When the Tibanna converts from liquid to gas, it cools the generator while providing fuel.

Nice! It looks really cool. I like the Tibanna gas coolant idea.

Thank you! Yeah I figure it works like a fire extinguisher. The expansion or evaporation of the pressurized liquid co2 can be really cold. Even spray paint nozzles can get pretty cold. I don't see why that can't be used to fuel and cool something simultaneously.

Thank you. I was supposed to get a potf2 gonk but i think it's lost in the mail. They're fun to greeble up and paint. You can make an infinate number of variations.

Yes, I like that one also. You are right in that any number of various gonk versions could be produced. I’m with Shawn on this one. Keep em coming.

Heck you could even start a Gonk Sale at your spaceport. You really come up with some fantastic variations. I look forward to seeing your Texaco version with your Crest.

Thank you. They're fun to make. They're getting expensive though. Even the POTF2 ones are $20 loose. If I find good prices I'll pick it up.

True. I had another coming, but it's lost in the mail along with a stormtrooper I bought. Ohh well. I still have the one that came in the Droid Depot 5 pack. I was going to make an IBM data storage gonk droid guy.

I could see Sabine Wren getting her hands on a gonk and going nuts too.

That's a great idea. Paint it a black basecoat, throw some purple on it, and go town with some paint pens. I will have to do that.
