Title: Plastic bending question

for those who work with styrene whats the best way to creates bends in plastic dowels and tubes? I'm going for a pipe works look

Heat up the plastic rod with a heat gun or hair dryer on high. Then it will bend very easily.

Heating works the best for plastic tubing & rod - if U are using alloy (metal) tubing - wrap the part in florist wire (found in hobby stores) - then bend to the desired angle - then unwind the wire - I used to make my own exhaust headers & sidepipes utilizing this method when I was into car models...
