Jules, this may be my favorite chapter to date!  You did a marvelous job with the dialogue of Storm Unit and otherwise, and I think your use of dramatic lighting is superb!  That effect really lends itself to the overall feel of each screenshot.  I can't help but marvel at each panel, and your awesome skill in creating these lifelike renditions.  Superb, my friend.  Superb!

I literally can not think of the best way to describe how truly awesome this is.

Like Phatty, I'm pretty sure this is my favourite chapter yet! It had everything, from banter between the soldiers to more full-on spacefighting, and the boarding party and ensuing fight brought a whole new dimension to your XWA series.

Truly epic, keep up the great work.

Wow Jules. This was worth the wait!

Visually stunning. I can't even describe it.

I loved the space battle and then the prisoner escape to boot. I don't know how you raise the bar each time, but you do!

Totally epic. The ship-board battle scenes turned out great. I really like that shot of the Stormtrooper getting taken out, and your space battle scenes keep getting better.

I really like how you used the electric arc effect to have on one side a red color and then the arc and then a blue color scheme. Very crafty.

CS, I really appreciate your feedback. I've not been in the forces so I'm not sure how authentic the dialogue was so I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Oh my, thank you 1000 times over. This is the best entertainment I know of. It beats the clone wars by a landslide, sorry GL. You have perfected everything you do and combined your forces into this amazing piece of work. I too say this is the best chapter but the problem is they get better every time. That being said I can't even imagine what you will come up with for the next. So today my mind is blown to a all new level of away. If this was for sale in a download format I would be one happy customer. You are the man for presenting something at this level for free, it seems we are forever in debt to you.

I can read the pilots and enjoy a good space-battle without becoming viscerally engaged.  And yours is easily some of the VERY best to read/see.  But when you put the ground-pounders into the fray, well, I'm a lot more ... hm, picky?  Attentive?  Because that's what I *do,* y'see.  I read/see panels as if that is what I'm *in,* with the muscles wanting to twitch and peek around corners, reaching for the grenade, diving behind a box... you see what I'm saying.  So when it is a mediocre effort, it throws me off.  But that's not your art.  Oh, no.  I scroll down during a boarding action and realize I'm already half-crouched in my chair, ready to move.  That sudden blaster bolt pops up and I'm quashing the reflexive urge to hit the deck.

Yeah.

It's that good.

Doc, I can't thank you enough for your comment. As someone who has never served in the forces I am in awe at the selfless bravery of the men and women who go into combat on our behalf. The fact that I have managed to entertain you, and bring some sort of realism into my story is an unexpected surprise.

I accidentally missed out a full page....it's now been inserted just before Storm Unit takes off from the cruiser Defiance. It's the conclusion of the row between Hooha and Jammer.
