my psp slim 3000 is broken, can anybody help?

when I try to put a game into my psp it shows the loading sign for the game but then it just says that the disc could not be read.
I have tried a couple of games but the same thing happened. If  there's anyone who has computer skills that could help me or tell me what might be wrong  it would be much appreciated  :)

Havent heard of this before. I would try to update the firmware to a newer version from a memory card and see if it helps.
