Sort of reminds me of one of the bikes from the PS2 game, Jak 2.  Very nicely done!

Here is something my son has been working on.  He was pouring thru the Essential Vehicles & Vessels book the other day & deceided he'd make his own Cloakshape Fighter.  He used the pics from the book, notecards, bottle caps & tape.  One of these days I'll set him up with his own account, but for now...

I think he's got the makings of a scratch-builder...something I cannot do at all.  He's already deceided he's ready to improve on it & I got him some cheap "For Sale" signs to use as the next step.

A kid, really? That's better than I could do!

Nice job on the speeder, by the way.

Moar stuffs!

First up is a chopper-style speeder bike w/ Post-Apocalyptic Cyborg Drow Swoop Biker inspired by three of my favorite series: Mad Max, Star Wars and The Legend of Drizzt novels by R.A. Salvatore.

Here is the vehicle in it's original form:

It's a Ram Cycle from the "Generator Rex" series.  Rex was cut off @ the waist and tossed.  The rump/legs meld into the bike so I turned them into the seat w/ some cardstock and scrap cloth.  The handlebars were sliced off and placed on styrene tubing to elongate them.  A bomb from a RC/Super Battle Droid 2-pak was attached to the top as a fueling cap, and scrap plastic strips used for control panels.  Exhuast pipes are from a Transformers "Clocker" fig from the "Cybertron" series.  The sigils on the nose are self-designed.  There are tallies of some-sort also, and the lettering @ the bottom says "Frak Life" in one of the Drow alphabets.

Next up is a Heavy Pursuit Speeder w/ Mando crew:

The speeder once was a CORPS! hovercraft.  Mods: a radar dish from the parts pile, antennas are styrene tubing.  The fans were replaced w/ more "Star Wars-ish" engines built from Coke caps with the clip-on rocket firing accessory common to older TCW clone troopers.  The headlights are from an "Exo-Squad" suit.

The original:

Thanks, everyone!  My son has been building stuff for a little while now.  He started kit-bashing/painting figs like dear ol' dad...then progressed onto scratch-building ships on his own.  He is obsessed w/ Uglies...and is into figuring out what ships he can combine into new ones.  More pics to follow.
