Here they are folks, the final entries into the Custom Smuggler Contest...Thanks everyone for making such a tremendous effort, I really cannot see an entry that shines out among the crowd as all of the customs show a great deal of creativity and skill, a testament to everyone's hard work.
I have left the votes for all to see and would ask that entrants vote for someone other than themselves, as it will be in the spirit of good sportsmanship.
This is anyone's competition so good luck everyone...
Voting closes in 7 days.....

Wow, I love the extras you have framed each pic with Jules. Thanks for organizing the contest. There are some outstanding entries. Which to pick?
-
Nice presentation HB. I just want to say all the entries are superb, brilliant, and smart. And I did vote for someone else.
-
;D.great entries here.the photos came out great.best of luck to everyone!
-
Dunno who he is but I know I'm voting for JediMidnTrix!
-
Jules you have done an excellent job on the presentation of this round of voting! Everyones entry is just outstanding! It will be so hard to pick a winner from this group of customs. I will let the entries marinate for a while and try to choose in the next few days. Good luck to everyone who entered!

Ok, It took a phone call for me to sort Darth Daddy and Elias' entries, but I have them separated and posted in the original message thread.
Darth Daddy's entry includes the Ewok and Twilek while Elias' entry included the monkey lizard and Agent Helix Custom. As I do believe Elias' Entry was the only one in the sixteen and under category he is automatically the winner of that as I do not think there were any other Youth Entries (hope we can change that someday) and subsequently there was no need for a voting thread for that age range.
Darth Daddy's name has been submitted in place of Elias' and I have allowed folks the option to change their vote now if they want to.
Remember folks, we will go down in flames to ensure fairness in every custom contest we operate, whether it be for a prize or not. Now, back to this regularly scheduled contest vote and may the best custom pair win the popular vote!

1 vote..... :-[

Great job everyone...seriously awesome work!!
I was torn between JediMidnTrix and darthdaddy as I felt these two entries really felt like Star Wars to me. I think in the end it was the Ewok that sold me, and I hate Ewoks. :)
Again, well done everyone!! :)
-
A very interesting spread of votes!
-
Congrats on the win JediMindtrix! :)
-
thanx everyone for the votes! 0/ DH glad you guys liked my smuggler & copilot.i appreciate all the positive feedback on these guys.had a lot of fun making them, and they're some of my favorite customs i've made.can't wait to show you folks some of my other customs & the newer ones i've got in the works.
-
Nice job on the smugglers dude, and congrats on the win!!
-
I think the win was as much to do with the creative backstory as it was to do with the choice of parts and custom work. You managed to combine Clone Wars and OT figures making your entry appeal to fans of both timelines. A well deserved win and a great way to kick off 2012.
Very well done!!!
-
Very nice work and a well deserved win! As Jules said that is a great cross over figure and the story was just awesome!
-
Congrats on the win JediMindtrix. I too liked your entry. Heck, I liked them all.
-
JediMindtrix congrats on the win buddy and very well deserved your choice of parts were fantastic as was your back story.

late thanx to all who replied.i would love to enter TOR contest, but i'm just as excited to see what folks come up with as that is one of my favorite time lines in the star wars verses.thanx again everyone!
-
would love to enter TOR contest
Any reason you can't?
-
i have been really busy lately, and didn't think i would be able to enter, but i did manage to pull off one old republic figure recently, and have an idea & parts in the works for a 2nd figure.the 3rd is a little more tricky, but i do have a few ideas in mind for that as well so it looks like i may be able to pull it off....i hope.
-
JMT,
Did you mean to put this post in the TOR Combined Sites Contest Thread?
-
Yeah shawn,i'm hoping to have everything done in time.really there's no good excuse to not enter other then lack of parts, but the time frame in which you have allotted is plenty so I think i'll pull it off.just been getting distracted easily, and havent had a great workspace in awhile(the kitchen table isn't cutting it).can't wait to see all the great entries for this one!!!
