per:
Great detailing and nice accessories, this figure is much better than I expected
versus:
There is not really a versus. With his Battle Horn he can't stand very good (I think you know what that means: custom base ;D)
opinion:
I'm very happy with this figure. He fits very good in my small Ep. I collection. The detailing is great and the accessories are really cool.
Now can the Battle of Naboo start.
I give this figure a 9/10

Great review FF! I saw a couple of these at Wal-Mart a couple of weeks ago, but I decided to get Major Panno. I'm going to try to get some of the episode 1 figures soon, I need more of them in my collection. Nice pictures too.

Thanks a lot gentlemen
Jedihunter226: Not a bad idea to use some of those guys for customs. I hope HASBRO will bring out some variations for a small Gungan army.

Yeah that would be pretty cool, but they don't have to make another boring Jar Jar ;)

I finally got around to gettting comparison pictures for the Power Of The Jedi warrior and the Legacy warrior.
the articlation on the 2000 figure is lacking, of course, but I once again have to state that for sculpts and presentation, Hasbro was definitely on top of their shit for the POTJ line! The colors on the new figure, especially the brown, are definitely better too. But the old figure is definitely worth owning to back up the new figure (honestly, it's a lot easier to get now too than the Legacy one which was severely undershipped).

I've been wanting to get a decent gungan sculpt for a while to do the gungan merc. from the Force Unleashed game.... the one with the missing ear that had the droids and you get to toss out the window. :)

the Legacy figure is DEFINITELY a good base for that character

I never thought about that idea spuda.
