Looks like McMetal scored again. Relentless.

I'm getting better...hunting smarter, not harder. :)

TRU is an excellent store for pre-planning, as they are the only toy seller that actually knows when their next truck of new stuff is due to arrive.

I'm also staking out Walmart for the new Deluxe Vehicle/Fig packs, but that's a bit harder since I have to rotate through 6-7 every other day or so. (!)

My TRU re-stocked today and I found the new TCW Wave of Deluxe Vehicle/Figure packs. (Anakin w/Sport Skiff, ARF Trooper w/AT-RT, Cody w/BARC Speeder)

I was really excited about this, despite the financial implications. Of course I bought them all immediately.

I also noticed 2 other things of note: they have dropped their basic figure price to $6.99 and they had a ton of BOGO packs ala Walmart and Target. Pretty much the same assortments as far as I could tell...

Good hunting!

The Exclusive Deluxe Vehicle/Fig sets finally hit here! Our TRU had the Speeder Bike TLC and STAP TCW sets out, fresh off the truck.

I immediately snagged the STAP...I like this much more than I though I would. I am now 100% caught up with all TCW offerings for 2010.

Your local Toys R Us stores are having another sale: 2 Star Wars figures for $10.99.  Now, if only mine would stock up on some newer figures, or any at all, that would be worth while!

Our TRU's have stopped ordering new Star Wars stuff altogether. I have not seen a single new item on the pegs since the STAP pack came out. They suck badly right now.
