SDCC 2011 Exclusives
« on: June 26, 2011, 03:05:18 PM »
Here are pics and links (click on the pic) for Gentle Giant's Comic-Con Exclusives.

It is my understanding that to pre-order these now you have to be a Premier Guild Member and they are limited to one per customer.

Captain America Movie SDCC 2011 Mini Bust
Limited Edition of 1000 pieces

Sucker Punch Baby Doll SDCC 2011 Mini Bust
Limited Edition of 500 pieces

Neville Longbottom SDCC 2011 Mini Bust
Limited Edition of 550 pieces

McQuarrie Snowtrooper SDCC 2011 Mini Bust
Limited Edition of 1800 pieces

Jawa Vinyl Cape SDCC Vintage Kenner 12' Figure
Limited Edition of 1000 pieces

I must admit that McQuarrie Snowtrooper broke my PGM resolve and it will be on its way to me! [at1]

I only really want the Snowtrooper bust so if anyone wants me to order one of the others first come first served and paypaled money up front. They seem to have changed their shipping prices to around twenty dollars too whether you use UPS or USPS so be aware of that if you pm me. I am sensing the real reason by one per customer and one order at a time.

I ordered the Nevil Longbottom and McQuarrie Snowtrooper busts.  I'm not huge on the movie Cap, so I'm waiting for the standard Comic version to come out.

Yeah, I miss seeing the regular style wings on the side of his headgear, but sometimes I feel that doing items before the movie comes out might sometimes hurt retailers. I guess it might sell better after the movie hits. I also figured you would bite on that Harry Potter bust. You probably have a great collection now that I think about it. I would love to see a combined pic when you get this one.

Actually, I don't have any of the Harry Potter busts yet.  I didn't get any before because I never saw any of the movies, but now that I have and want to get some of them, they're a little more difficult to find at reasonable prices.  The SDCC exclusives are, or course, the more expensive and difficult to obtain, so I made sure not to miss out on this one.

I agree, this broke my PGM resolve and now I have a PGM Shadow Scout to deal with, but that Snowtrooper will be mine. I love the two helmet sculpts it comes with.
