That's great Ron! I really like the color tones in the landscape and I think that stone wall is amazing! Does it take you a long time to assemble a wall like that? I would think it does.

Another well done diorama, Ron! You make this war come alive, again. Shall it never be forgotten. The wall and crew look very realistic, too!

Hey Jeff, thanks heaps buddy and the wall is so easy mate all I did was make a frame using foam board and then used cling wrap(you use it to wrap food in) and shove that into the frame then add the kitty litter shake it then keep adding the litter until you can't then added watered down PVA glue over the litter and then let it dry for 24 hours. After the 24 hours pull the frame apart and the peel off the cling wrap.

Another well done diorama, Ron! You make this war come alive, again. Shall it never be forgotten. The wall and crew look very realistic, too!

Thanks so much DM.

That's a brilliant technique Ron, and sure beats building the whole thing piece by piece ;)

Thanks so much Jeff and I was originally going to do it one piece at a time but thought now ay it will take way to long LOL.

Hi All,

Sd.kfz 223 Afrika Korps 1:35 scale.

Recipe.

223/figure - the 223 is from Tamiya and built straight out of the box and the cam net is from JoeFix Studios and I cut is to size and added straps using paper. The 223 was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and pastel chalks and the figure is from Dragon and was painted using Vallejo Paints.

Base - is a piece of high density foam and the small rock ledge section was done by using a knife and cutting into the foam. The small rocks are kitty litter, the grass tufts are from Army Painter and the sand is a mix of spakfilla and sand.

That is outstanding, Ron. I like the addition of the camo net - that's a great bit of detail. The landscape looks good, too. I like the rocky ledge, it looks realistic.

Hey Jeff,

Thanks heaps buddy and really glad you like it and the kit came with a cam net but it's all plastic and was way to bulky.

Hi All,

Jurassic Park, The hunters become the hunted -1:35 scale.

Recipe.

T-rex/figures and Jeep - The T-rex is from Tamiya, the figures are from Trumpeter and the jeep is from Jada Toys and it was jeep #18 but I thought I'd throe an Easter egg in and change it to #10.
Base - is an old shelf and the diorama base is foam board, I used used a mix of spakfilla/sand/dirt to make the ground work and once applied and dried I used Woodland Scenics Realistic Water to give it a muddy look.

The bushes are from Woodland Scenics and are from their foliage range, the palms/ferns/grass tufts are from Gamers Grass and the spikey plants are plastic plants from a pet shop. The dead tree trunks are pieces of dead branches which I soaked in methylated spirit to kill any bugs and stop them from rotting and the vines were made by pouring thin strips of PVA glue onto non stick paper and then sprinkling Woodland Scenics foliage climbs over them.

The gate was made using foam for the columns and wire for the rebar and plastic rod for the fence section and the gate was made using plastic card and rod and the signs are from ETA Dioramas.
