Awesome work! A great ship design. Been seeing the figures and smaller scale ships but still not seeing this scale anywhere

Thanks heaps Raylen and yeah it funny that some countries get certain things then others as I'm still trying to find all the smaller ships but keeping seeing the same two everytime.

Lol just found it today!  Passed up for two reasons. One: headed to ICC Con and secondly.... wow, its a bit bigger than i expected. I know the scale if not 1:18 but a little concerned it dwarfs an Xwing and similar ships. However, if i dont start seeing some SW (other than a Lando army) in stores i may bite. Picked up my first JP figure today.

Yeah she is on the large size but I've been thinking 4" figures would suit it way better as they should be the right scale for it and good luck at the Con.

Hi All,

Buzz Lightyear in Alpha suit 5" scale in Toy Story colours.

Note - I have added a pic at the start so you can see what he looked like before painting.

Recipe.

Buzz - is the figure that comes with the XL-15 that I repainted a few weeks ago and I decided to paint him and the jet pack up in Toy Story colours. I added the Space Ranger and name tag using my printer and the laser barrel is a piece of plastic and the laser beam is a light saber blade from a 3-3/4" Hasbro Darth Vader figure.

Once the figure and jet pack were painted I drilled out holes from the exhaust and then added clear rods and once dry attached him to the base and then added smoke using cotton wool which was ripped/pulled apart.

Base - is a plastic base I got from a 1/6 scale figure and I made the rocks by pulling/ripping apart foam and then gluing the to the base and the mud is a mix of spakfilla/sand/dirt mixed together and applied to the base.

Once the ground work was dry I painted it as well as the rocks and then applied the grass tufts which are from Gamers Grass and then I applied clear resin to give it a more soggy swap look.

Wow Ron, this turned out fantastic! Man, love the jetpack action and firing laser here.

You really turned this whole 5 inch offering into an awesome work of art!

Time to take this to the front pages.

Thanks heaps Shawn and for a kids/family and yes adult movie Mattel have done such a great job on detailing these figures, they just need a good paint job.

Hi All,

Lightyear in X-01 flight suit 12" repaint.

Recipe.

Lightyear - is from Mattel and is 12" tall and I painted him using Vallejo Paints and I took some custom repaint liberties on him as there wasn't any or not clear enough pics that I could find and I have put two pics to show what he looks like before painting.

That looks really excellent. It's amazing how much better the figure is with just some good paint applications.
