Thanks heaps Richard and mate give it a go as you can use anything for a bat signal. Here's a go that used a small light for a great little display piece.

Hi All,

Batman - Bat Signal - Completed

Diorama/Display - The roof top is high density foam and I used a sharp pencil to make the brick work and roof top section. I then used a piece of sandstone and tapped over the brick work and roof to give it more realistic look. The Ladder is made using plastic rod and plastic card.

The signal is made from PVC plumbers pipe connections and plastic card and the light is a cheap book light I picked up of ebay. The glass is a piece of clear plastic and the bat logo was done by picking a logo I liked and then I traced it on the soft model plastic and cut it out.

The whole diorama/display was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and Pastel chalks.

Wow, Ron - I'm meeting my buddy Max today and will show your project to him! I'm sure he will love & want to have it! I think that's not a bad signal! When are you going into mass production?
I hope you bought a truckload of those lamps! lol

That turned out really fabulously. Using the trooper backpack was a great idea. All those little details make a huge difference (I really like the ladder). The paint job is amazing, and the way the signal projects the bat shadow really feels movie/TV/comic book accurate. Awesome!

Thanks heaps buddy I really appreciate it and I hope he likes it and if he is interested in wanting to buy the display (no figure) here is my email - hemble@hotmail.com .

I have my local con in May next year so I'm actually going to be making a few with different bat logo's, but it will be just the signal and power box on a cement slab as I only get two tables to show and sell my work.

Wow that is nice Ron. The signal looks so good too. Off to share.

Thanks heaps Shawn.

Thanks heaps mate and I actually didn't even think about the shadow when I was making it but once I did have it all together I was actually surprised it actually showed it.

Hi All,

Terminator T-800 from T2.

Recipe.

T-800 - is from NECA and I used an extra plasma rifle from another T-800 figure and once I got him in the pose I like I glued the joints and repainted him and weathered him using Vallejo Paints.

Base - the lower base is a plastic stand from Mezco and the diorama section is made using high density foam as are the cement sections. The metal rods are pieces of twisted wire and then inserted and glued into place.

The dirt is a mix of sand and spakfilla and once the whole diorama was done it was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and Pastel chalks.

Hi All,

Terminator T-800 Bodyguard from T2.

Recipe.

T-800 - I used two Terminator figures from NECA to make this figure from his in the metal works factory and once I got him in the pose I like I glued the joints and puttied them up and also added the flesh damage using putty and repainted him and weathered him using Vallejo Paints.

The grenade launcher came with the leather outfit Terminator and I made the bandolier using some old fabric.

Base - the lower base is a plastic stand from Mezco and the diorama section is made using foam and used Vallejo Paints and Pastel chalks to paint and weather it.
