Damn that's a great paint job, you really brought out the detail that was lost. It looks fantastic.

I agree, the detail is great. It just looks tough. Anxious to see your Dio for this one. Off to the front pages.

Thanks heaps JD and yeah the detail on the car is actually pretty good it just needed paint and weathering to bring it out.

Thanks so much Shawn and I'll be starting the batcave today and will have WIP pics in a few days.

Rob, that's a stunning piece of work. The weathering on the body is really excellent and your plastic card interior is masterfully done. Exquisite detailing.

Hi All,

While I've been waiting for materials to arrive I started on a 1:12 Bat signal and Roof top dio the other day and thought I would show some WIP pics.

The signal so far is made from PVC plumbers pipe connections, plastic card, military model parts and the light is a cheap book light I picked up of ebay. The glass is a piece of clear plastic and the bat logo was done by picking a logo I liked and then I traced it on the soft model plastic and cut it out.

The roof top is high density foam and I used a sharp pencil to make the brick work and then used a piece of sandstone and tapped over the brick work and roof to give it a more realistic look.

A friend of mine from high school and I found the Batman - Arkham Asylum videogame used the other day. This is his favorite game and we play it together now every time we hang out. It's his favorite game and I got to say it's  brilliant. Those lights look exactly like yours in the movie and the game like JD already said.
Ron, every single project of yours is amazing! Thanks for all the nostalgia!

Hi All,

I added some extras onto the light and dio before I primed it. I added a partial ladder by using plastic rod and plastic card, I also made a on/off power box using plastic card and added two power boxes at the top and bottom of the signal using Bandai Sandtrooper back pack parts and plastic card.
