Awesome job Ron! The whole diorama looks good. The Gorn is great and the dirt stains on Kirk look excellent.

Cheers mate.

It is always great to see a new Star Trek dio from you.
Your Gorn looks far better than the movie version.
Excellent work my friend.

Thanks heaps mate.

Ron

Hi All,

New WW2 dio in the works.

The Ausf H is from Academy and so far has been painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints. The figure's are from Master Box and I just need to fill in a few little gaps before painting them.

Hi All,

I have done the ground work by mixing spakfilla/sand and brown paint and then applying it to the base and the grass tufts, small shrubs and tall thin bushes I got from my local gaming shop.

The tank has had the left over dirt applied to the tracks, wheels and where ever dirt collects and I just need to do a little more weathering to it and then paint the figures.

This is looking great Ron. I love the detail you put into the ground elements, they always look so natural.

Love the foliage in the groundwork, Ron. The Panzer 4 is looking good.
One of my younger passions was 1/35 scale WW2 kits. Man, there is so much stuff out there now. Those Master Box figures look just right in this setting. I have several of those kits but haven’t built any of the figures yet.

That looks like some German engineering right at the battlefield.
Awesome work on the model and the scenery so far, Ron!
The opened hatch and the incredible detail you added to the Panzer IV are brilliant and unique details.

- Philipp

ADD: First, I thought the soldiers were repairing the track, but then I saw they were playing cards. The detail of those molds is impressive and I’m sure you’ll put far more magic to them when you paint them!

Thanks heaps buddy and yeah I started building 1/35 when I was 12 yrs old and my dad taught me so much with the hobby and back then you had to make 90% of your extra's like straps, tree's and building etc.

As you mentioned the amount of kits and after market kits is amazing and yeah Master box kits are awesome as the details are so crisp and they go together great as well.

Thank heaps Philipp and I was originally going to have the crew repairing a track but when I building the tank this figure kit arrived and knew it was perfect for the dio.

Hi All,

I have finished the Ausf H dio but due to severe rain and flooding here (I'm safe) the sun hasn't been out for over a week so here are some quickie pics till the sun comes out.
