Thanks heaps Shawn and this was a fun one to paint up and I got told of another crossover with indy and solo/chewie which indy finds the falcon and a dead han so I'm going to be doing that as well.

That's fantastic, Ron. The stone color is excellent. I really like the vines growing on Solo. The different prints worked out well. My son swears by filament printers for terrain and resin for figures, so I'm not so surprised that the stones turned well.

Thanks so much Jeff and yeah when the filament printers first came out they were terrible as you would spend more time trying to sand the lines out but now, they are awesome for terrain and diorama's. The resin printers are brilliant for smaller items or miniatures as the details you get on them is mind blowing.

Hi All,

ToD Sankara stone and skeleton stone head 112 scale.

Recipe.

stones/head - the stones are a brown/clear resin and the stone head is a 3D PLA kit from In Print Condition https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100065277600673 and I got it printed from Syndicate Custom  https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100082987609768 .

I drilled out the centre of the stones with a Dremel and inserted LED's and once that was done, I added a few wash layers of Burnt Sienna to make the stones less clear and I painted and weathered the stone head with Vallejo Paints. The base and the section the stone head is on is balsa foam which is very easy to cut and carve into but very dusty.

I used a pencil to mark out the floor and the two flame holders were made using plastic rod/craft string and tabletop miniature bases and the flames were done using Woodland Scenics Water effects with a little orange/yellow paint mixed into it.

That's awesome! Great job all around from the floor work, the skull and lighting the stones. Do you ever have print line issues with any of your 3d printed items? If so how do you get rid of it?

Thanks very much JD and all these Indy dio's I have had Syndicate Customs print them for me as they have awesome printers that hardly or don't even leave the print lines. My printer is resin and I'm not game to print things this big in resin as I have a hard enough time printing miniatures lol

Hi All,

Indiana Jones 1:12 scale.

Recipe.

Indy/Croc - Indy is from Hasbro and I glued the joints and then puttied over the joints and the croc is from Schleich and both were repainted using Vallejo paints and Indy was given a little more weathering using pastel chalks. The webley I got of Ebay and is resin and the bullet hits on the crocs back were done using thin wire and then covered with Woodland  Scenics water effects.

base - is a picture frame and I built of the groundwork using mulch, the plants are from Joefix Studios and the grass tufts are from Army painter. The plants were given a brown/green wash to give them a more realistic look and the vines I cut from a few trees that are around my neighbourhood.
The column is designed by Inprint Condition and it was printed by Syndicate Customs and the water I used Woodland Scenics realistic water and once dry I used Woodland Scenics water effects to create the ripples.

This looks great! I like how the plants turned out and the vines look really good on the column. The croc is amazing; great paint work and the bloody back is impressive. Great job all around.
