Another masterpiece my friend.
I really like the base and the camouflaged rifle.

Excellent work as always.

Hi All,

New dio/display WIP and this one is going to be a book nook diorama which I will use between my books. I still need to wait for the wall lights section to dry that’s why the unpainted ones are in the dio.

I’ll also have lights in the roof using LED’s with the on/off switch attached to the back. The walls are 3D prints which a mate did for me and they are great as I also used them for the Vader and Tarkin dio I did.

Thanks so much Shawn and this one has been a learning curve for me as I've never worked with so many LED's before but it has been worth it. I have also learned that because the top layer of resin was dry doesn't mean that the bottom is dry  ::), so I ruined the light effect as and had none left so I went with painting the back wall white and then applying the light wall sections but it still looks good. I'll have pics up tomorrow.

Amazing stuff, Ron!
Wait, the printed panels were still wet?
I figured the Catalyst in that printed stuff was quicker than that.

Thanks so much Clint and the panels were all good it was the lights section which I filled in and didn't leave to dry long enough and when I put the straight up they flowed and sorry for the very late reply mate.

Thanks so much buddy and I have WIP pics saved somewhere I just have to find the USB I put them on and also sorry for the late reply mate.

Hi All,

The Search Bookends 1:12 scale, this was a commission for a friend.
Recipe.

Troopers - are form Hasbro and I just covered and fill in the joints and then painted and weathered them using Vallejo Paints and pastel chalks, the comms pack is a Snowtrooper back pack with wire for aerials.

C-3PO is from Bandai and was built straight out of the box and he was weathered using GW Agrax Eartheshade and pastel chalks.

Base - was made using foam for the base and then I used a mix of spakfilla and sand and applied it to the base and once dry I painted the mix with Vallejo's Iraqi Sand.

Hi All,

Here are the final pics of the DS Book Nook dio.

Recipe.

The base is made using foam board and balsa wood and I used clear contact for the floor and lights and the actual light are small LED's. The walls are 3D printed by a mate of mine and they were painted and glued onto the sides of the nook.
