Sweet! Really nice montage to the scout troopers. Now you just need to add one for Hoth and you've got all three OT:) Amazing execution on all the details that really make these "sing."

Nice Scout Dio Ron. I like it. Off to share.

I could see you doing another one of what he is shooting at.

Cheers mate and yeah I'm just waiting on another box set to arrive so I can do a Hoth version like I did a few years back in 1:12.

Hi All,

Wampa Attack - 28mm.

Recipe.

Figure's - The Snow Troopers are from FFG SW Legion box set and the Wampa's are from FFG Imperial Assault which I got from a mate in my model group.  The Wampa being shot has had his right arm modified and then puttied up and I also did two blaster hits with smoke coming up as his fur has been burnt.

Base - is thick foam board and the walls and ceiling were done using high density foam and then watered down spakfilla applied over it. The walking plates are just pieces of plastic card I had in my bits box and the crates are from FFG SW Legion Priority Supplies Battlefield Expansion set.

Scout Trooper Dioramas

Wow, Ron these dios fuel my imagination! Cruising through the devastating desert of Tatooine looking out for droids must be so cool! I would tune up "A Horse with No Name" from America if I was a Scout Trooper there...so awesome! Your Endor dios with Scouts & Speeders are equally great! I really enjoy the little dio on picture frame with Scout & Speeder from Hasbro, too.
Ah, this is what makes Star Wars as great as it is. Your work of art is very inspriring and contributes some precious sights of a galaxy far, far away.

Wampa Diorama

This encounter of the Snowtroopers with two Wampas on Hoth is such a great scene for a diorama! Reminds me of some of the deleted scenes from Empire Strikes Back. I cannot repeat it enough: it's incredible how much detail you get onto these miniatures! The Snowtroopers look stunning and the fur of the Wampas look realistic as hell! I really like how you painted the deep textures darker than the hair on the surface. Awesome effects!

You're an artist, Ron! Thank you for sharing your talent with us! Makes me feel better every day! All of these dios strongly remind me of playing the Battlefront videogames...good memories.

Looks pretty daggone rad to me Ron. I always like these smaller Hoth Diorama. Just a ton of action in this one too. Off to share.

Really appreciate the kind words Philipp thanks heaps mate and that's one reason I love doing SW builds as there are no wrongs or rights when it comes how you want to display the figures or vehicles.

I got the idea for the Wampa attack from Battlefront especially the ice/snow caves and the fur doe's need a little darker colour under the white as to bring out the depth otherwise it's just to bland.

Looks pretty daggone rad to me Ron. I always like these smaller Hoth Diorama. Just a ton of action in this one too. Off to share.

Always appreciate the comments and FP Shawn thanks heaps mate.

Hi All,

Rebel Snow Speeder, 28mm.

Recipe.

Speeder - is from FFG SW Legion and as with their other vehicles and figures this kit has awesome details. The speeder was built straight out of the box and painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.

Base - is high density foam cut to shape and the rock was done using a plaster mould from Woodland Scenics and was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints. The snow is watered down spakfilla which was applied using a medium brush.

These last two Hoth dioramas are excellent. I love the Wampa attack. The way you posed the recoiling/falling Wampa looks great. I also really like the darker face coverings for the snow troopers, looks excellent. Brilliant job on both those.
