Hi All,

in between my usual 1:12 and other scale builds I decided I would give Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Legion a go and see what it is like as I was lucky enough to pick up the Imperial core set from a guy at my local gaming store for very very cheap.

But me being me I don't want to start playing until I have scenery so I was looking around the gaming store and found these Imperial scenery sets from www.battlekiwi.com which are made from laser cut MDF and damn they are awesome.

I picked up the Shield generator and two laser turrets but instead of building them as per the instruction I made 6 buildings from 3 buildings so that I could have a nice size Imperial outpost.

Once they building were done I started adding extra pieces to the buildings using plastic card, plastic rod, 1:12 and 1:48 Star Wars Bandai parts, 1:35 military model parts, lids and plastic tubing.

Also if anyone is wondering these would make for an awesome dio as well as will the figures as they are in 1:48 scale.

Here are the pics before painting and I'll have more updates tonight.

Ron

These buildings are very nicely built, Ron! Star Wars Legion looks very promising, too! I'm looking to seeing how you get into this new part of the universe.

I saw this on Facebook and thought wow! Let me go take this to the front page. I might have to pick up some of these myself! I need to check out this game too.

Thanks Philipp and the good thing is if I don't get into the game I can always use these for diorama's :)

Cheers Shawn and even if your not a gamer the figures alone are awesome.

Hi All,

The Imperial building are now done, I sprayed them with Tamiya's Neutral Grey and once dry I then drybrushed them with Army Painter Spacship Exterior.

I then went in the line recess's with a led pencil and then used pastel chalks to weather them. The sand is a 50/50 mix of sand/spakfilla and once dry I then painted it with Vallejo's Iraqui sand.

Ron, these turrets really turned out well. The paint applications are most excellent.

Cheers mate and it's amazing what a little paint app and weathering does to them.
