Hey mate, in a nut shell mate since they changed the way you attach a video to your youtube page is how will we say crap. Not crap on their side but on mine as I'm not tech savvy what so ever so I'm having issues adding videos at the moment so as soon as I figure it out I'll be adding vids again.

Ron, the Mimban stormtrooper looks great. Thanks for explaining your process. I love the baby wipe idea for fabric!

Hi All,

I don't have the space at the moment to make a larger version of Kenobi's house so I thought I would just make a small section with R2-D2 showing the message from Leia.

1:12 scale

Recipe

R2-D2 - is from Bandai and made straight out of the box and I painted and weathered him using Vallejo paints and pastel chalks.

Table and Hologram - are from Hasbro's BS 6" line special edition set and I just repainted it using Vallejo paints.

Base - is foam board with spakfilla applied to it and then I used a lightly damp baby wipe and dabbed over the spakfilla to give it a nice texture. The rug is some old fake fur I had and I just cut it out to shape and painted it and glued it to the base.

Hi All,

A nice simple build completed today of BB-8 from Bandai.

1:12 scale

Recipe

Base - is foam board with a balsa wood edging and the sand is a mix of 50/50 mix of spakfilla and sand and once applied to the base and dried it was painted with Vallejo Paints
