Also i can help you with naming a few of the part's. The knee pad's are the iron grenadier's and i think the Gauntlet cuff is the solo fig when he's about to get tortured i think. :-\ Hope that helps! ;D ;D
excellent work! that dengar body really works with the bossk parts, same parts that i used on my trando merc a while back, awesome
No prob! Also i can help you with naming a few of the part's. The knee pad's are the iron grenadier's and i think the Gauntlet cuff is the solo fig when he's about to get tortured i think. :-\ Hope that helps! ;D ;D
Thanks :) Good eye!
Awesome paint aps on the Trando! One great lloking figure Brian!Yep!! I concur! :)
AWESOME!
Real nice paint job on Ziro. Shame they killed him off, I was starting to like the guy...
Awesome customs man
Those droids turned out great! That Guri figure is amazing, major props on that build!
These are AMAZING! Your sculpting is spot on! ;D
Your welcome! Your stuff really deserves recognition!
Brian are you going to make the chain sickle weapon for Assaaj. i am trying to figure out how to make one myself. I hope to work on it tomorrow and will share if you like.
FATHER OF THE CENTURY !!!!! I HAVE NO WORDS DD YOU ARE A MASTER!! GREAT JOB
I, personally, think the gem of your Nightsister series is the Ventress fig: I love the sculpting, the coloring, everything about your versions of her in Nightsister attire are simply outstanding. True excellence in every sense of the word. Congrats on an outstanding piece of work!
It looks like you figured out the sickle chain too. Nicely done! Totally different take then what i did which is great (i still need to add the handle to mine).
Love that Talzin green sithwitch energy. Would love to hear about how you made that.
Back on the front page.
Just had a chance to check these out; awesome effects on the lightning/nightsister 'magic"!
The undead sister is phenomenal! The detailing in the rotted flesh in her cheekbones is the topper on a exceptional fig.
Your sculpting work inspired me to finally bite the bullet and get some from Aves this week; in the mail and my first stabs at sculpting will be commencing sometime shortly.
Again, awesome work; Elias is one lucky kid! Hope he enjoys his birthday!
I just want to take a moment and say Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. And, if you will allow me to share (via my faith and worldview) this is one of the most special times of the year, at least to me. I am truly thankful to God above for His grace, mercy and salvation. He has richly blessed my life. I have the blessing of an amazing wife, beautiful children, and a loving family. I am also thankful that I live in this great nation. I hope you have a chance to take a moment today and look at your life and reflect on how fortunate you are. I also want to make a statement to the ISYs in general that even though we don't all know each other personally and face-to-face, I am thankful that in our hobby we have a common place to share our creations with one another. Happy Thanksgiving enjoy some turkey!!!
Hey Darth Daddy!!! Just wanted to give you a shout out on turkey day and wish you and yours well. I absolutely love the Rodian snowspeeder pilot!!! He is so awesome and I can't wait to get him into my rouge squadron ranks. Time to go out and pick up a couple more tvc snowspeeders for these guys to pilot (just don't tell my wife how much they cost!). Anyway, just wanted to say thank you for thinking of me, it really means a lot. I'm pretty new to this community of hobbyists and everyone has been nothing but exceptionally friendly and supportive. Hope to see more of your great work very soon!

Big improvement, Brian. I couldn't recall what the original figure looked like, glad you posted it on your blog as well. And like I said, big improvement. Hasbro's version just looks years older than what she appears to be in the comics.
BRUTAL!
Lookin good !
Nice, Update on the front page.
That Darth Dusty looks pretty talented to me.
The finished lineup looks impressive; just got back from a stop over at your blog.
I was already in the process of working on my own TFUII Starkiller (battle arena), but now I've got to step it up a notch after seeing DarthDusty's work. Looks like you grabbed an awesome fig!
Been keeping up with these updates thru facebook but want to say here, loving all these updates! Great looking figure Elias and man Brian, you really did some awesome work in 2012! Can't wait to see what the new year will bring!
Is it me or does it seem like Hasbro doesn't want people to have the stuff they want?
Sorry to vent on your page. Amazing Jedi. Did you sculpt the beard yourself? It looks amazing.
Looks like my mother in law
Nice Hutt. Did you sculpt the entire figure or just the head. Very well done.
One of the reasons I'm so glad to finally be a member of this site is to tell you that I love the work you guys do. Awesome customs as always!
very cool guys ,hey have you noticed how the Bith always look like someone has given them an awesomely sour lemon to suck lol
Congrats LE!! Elias: I love the Dino custom and all the other customs you have been creating lately. DD I cannot wait to see that Krell.
Looks great Brian. I would love to see those knees under her skirt to see how you did that.
I wonder if those new arty joints BBTS sells would work good for any articulation job like this? Expect to see this on our fp soon.
Looks even better than I hoped my version would look. So glad you were the one that made him instead :) See I told you that you would be able to do drybrushing.
Great addition to the cantina, Elias!
I was curious about you opinion on something: do you think you get better results by priming your figures in black first before dry brushing them? Or do you think your results are similar if you don't apply a primer coat of paint first?
Keep up the excellent work!
I've really been digging these cantina patron customs you've been cranking out. What have you been using as a resource to get their looks right?
He definitely looks better. How well does the head move around?
I sure do like Colin's work too. I don't know why that guy doesn't post here! I am sure he will love seeing this. Off to share.
I love it too! The coolest thing is I got to see this in the fodder box at my house! Thanks for stopping by guys it was great meeting you in person after talking for so long. Also great trading with you, it is always fun running through new fodder bins huh? You guys are welcome at Sprywalker Ranch anytime!
That Diva Shaliqua is Awesome! Nice job on the Pong Krell too. I made one too a good while back. The one I made can be seen in my thread here if you'd like to check it out. How tall is your custom Pong Krell? Can you post a pic with him next to a standard size star wars figure?
Cool stuff!
Maybe this is a dumb question, but what is better about that Target exclusive head?
Maybe this is a dumb question, but what is better about that Target exclusive head?
Great job, your Krell is excellent.
I just love the Tusken Trooper, What soft good did you use?
The back story is great.
Thanks guys! Shawn those DVD's can be pretty expensive these days because they are out of print. Let me know if you want a cheap solution.
Elias wanted to communicate his thanks to everyone who commented on his C-3PO.
Here are two figures that I just made for my 4 year old nephew. He was watching Ewoks: The Battle for Endor about 3-4 times a day for weeks on end. My sister wanted to kill me.
For his last birthday, we gave him the entire Star Wars video library complete with all the films, the Clone Wars TV episodes, and the old Ewok movies that were made for television when I was a little kid.
When we visited his house this summer, we brought him the new Wicket action figure from the Vintage collection and the Ewok Battle Pack that was exclusive to Toys R' Us. While we were visiting for the week, my nephew saw us make custom action figures for the blog and was really impressed with our ability to make our own toys. So much so, that he asked if we could make him a Noa and a Cindel for Christmas. Before we left that week, I ordered a Teek action figure to be mailed to his house, and told him to keep an eye on the mailbox around Christmas time. When we returned home, I started to acquire the fodder we needed to complete his request. When I started to obtain the fodder, I bought double of everything so that I could make a set for our collection too.
Since time was limited, we only had the chance to make this first set for my nephew, but once the New Year rolls around, we'll most likely make the second set for the home collection as well. This project was a lot of fun because it was a real team effort between me and Elias. To create the action figures, we modified an Anakin Skywalker from Episode I to create the Cindel Towani, and we used a Willrow Hood body and a Henry Jones head from the "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" toy line to make the Noa Briqualon action figure. I worked on the head sculpts and the soft goods, while Elias worked on creating Noa's staff and painting the figures. I really liked the way that they both came out and I can't wait to add these two characters to Elias' collection now that I know what needs to be done. Elias' favorite part of this project was using the Dremel for the first time to sand a wooden chopstick into Noa's staff. It was his first time working with the tool and he said it was a lot of fun to use.
I hope my nephew enjoys the new toys that we made for him and even more importantly that his dog doesn't eat them. Let us know what you think.

GREAT WORK MATE and I love the idea too.
I've always wondered if some Clones thought "Hey, screw you and Order 66...I'm outta here" and just went into hiding. This Clone in Jedi Disguise could easily be a Clone hiding out on Tatooine or Saleucami.
Now this is the way Darth Vader should have come awesome work DD,
I am so impressed with the work that you and your son do. Beautiful paint job and kitbashing. You hollowed out a CW Mando helmet too.
Excellent sculpt work on the face. How did you sculpt the helmet?
Green stuff / Kneadite is the best thing for sculpting hair IMO.
Bo Katan is so on my TCW do-do list.
Does that helmet fit over her head or is it a separate "head".
That is an amazing head sculpt!
I know at least 2 guys who frequent JTA who would pay dearly for that head.
Will you be selling them?
I for one would have bought multiple packs of this. Great work. Would love to see more animals from the clone wars.
DD & Elias,
Awesome work guys.
Ron
This is one of those figures I could never get my hands on in stores and Always wanted one. Not willing to pay eBay prices for it though. Your figure, has now trumped Hasbro's. I LOVE THIS.
a really well done Shasa Tiel ! i am curious about the paint color what did you use to get that color ?
Great looking figure. Was that head completely sculpted? Great looking figure.
DD & Elias you guys are just smashing these customs, your paint apps and sculpting work are just awesome well done guys.
Ron
Five's looks execellent and the subtle weathering is perfect.
Ron
Man! I've been wanting to do this one too. It looks perfect!
Which head is that, Vintage or Modern?

When are you getting around to entering yours in the Jabba's Entourage Challenge?
Great job! Did you do some sculpting on him?
Very nice Brian. I gotta go share this one. Talk about a lot of work and steps on this one!
Haven't been on the Yards in awhile, but I had some time to kill and just went through your entire thread. Your customizing skills are superb and you are an excellent sculptor. Wish I could sculpt like you, but really enjoyed looking through all your customs. Keep up the great work! Really glad to see you bring out Custom Clone Wars figures that weren't made by Hasbro. Awesome work!

Thanks Butterfingers! I can't take credit for all the figures in this thread. A fair amount of the figures were made by my 10 year old Elias. He even did the head sculpts for Yoda and one of the Palpatine's. (the best one). I'm actually a beginner at sculpting. I only started when I began customizing action figures. I just dove in head first. Sanding what you sculpt to refine what you have is the key. I didn't know that initially, my first sculpts could use a second go round. I practice as often as I can. Your compliments mean a lot!
Very nice. That would make for a cool video too Brian. If you do create another one and take a video of it send it to me and I will load it to our YouTube Channel! I think folks would love to see this nice slice fix, not just for this but a variety of head switches! Off to share.
Wow. Great head sculpt. Where'd you manage to find that Ezra, The only figures I seem to have an abundance of near me is the Sabine and Vizago 2 packs.
Kohl's in Enfield had a packed display.
Nice! I plan to do a repaint whenever they get released in the UK.
What head did you use?
Good work!
Hey brian I would really like to add that Zare Leonis to my rebels collection. Do you have a mold/cast for the head or something. If so what product do you use to make a mold? Thanks
Great looking TCW Vizla. Off to share.
Hope you had a chance to watch that last episode of CAFN, we have you guys a shout for your five year anniversary.
Very nice, I LOVE the Clone Wars so much. I enjoy all yours and elias' work. Actually you and Peakob1's work is what actually pulled me to the yards to share my customs. Keep up the great customs Brian, and CONGRATULATIONS on the 5 year anniversary on the blog. Many more years of customizing to you and Elias 0/ DH
Awesome! What a fun (and probably nerve-wracking) project to do. I'd really like to have a better shot of the Hedji head sculpt (I was always a bit frustrated that they killed him off). The body sculpts and heads are amazing.
In fact, you can probably make this figure in less than a minute. All you need is the new Black Series Kylo Ren figure that is exclusive to Wal-mart and the head and plastic cloak from the Armor-Up Kylo Ren action figure. With a few seconds of drilling to expand the hole on the Armor-Up head, you can do the head swap needed to make this figure.
We personally feel that the Armor-Up parts that we used here should have already been included with this particular Black Series action figure. When one considers the steep price tag, $15.83 on this so-called "collector's series" action figure, it's easy to call poor form on Hasbro's part for not following proper etiquette when not including all the proper accessories for a figure. Even more so when the parts were already manufactured. We never collected their 6" Black Series line for this very reason. Hasbro is a company cutting corners where they shouldn't. Collectors are frustrated. Consumers who used to spend thousands of dollars a year are walking away in droves.
Love it.
I wish you guys would show your WIPs too.
Brian, your sculpting is getting way good.
Great looking Captain Panaka, Vizago's green droid, and especially Rebels Captain Rex!
I too want to add articulation to a Rebels Rex figure, that is if I could ever find one without paying a small fortune for one. Great job on your Rebels Rex though!
I have to say this is one of the best versions i have seen , and well done on the jacket . I look forward to the cantina updates .
DarthDaddy, Your custom Atheloe figure looks amazing. Great job! Love the soft goods.
Thank you for the shout out for my custom Atheloe head sculpt/resin cast head
and my Riff Valley Design Works page.
Really nice. The jacket is amazing. What figure did you use for the base because those Lutrellians have very wide ends?
Thanks. The jacket was really easy to recreate. Even for a beginner....
The hair was the hardest part because I never tried that before.
Brilliant! The whiskers turned out really well and the jacket looks excellent. Really nice work on this figure!
You always inspire me with how much creativity you have man!!
These parts work! I like your dry brushing!!!
Very cool, I have been thinking of doing some figure customizing of my own, and your stuff is always good for inspiration. DH
Nice job on your Vul Tazaene figure. I made a custom figure of Vul Tazaene too back in 2013. Here's a picture of the custom Vul Tazaene figure that I made then. I based mine on the images that were available at that time. Keep up the good work!

Excellent use of the skiff guard. I never saw the similarity in the outfits before.
Very nice. I also see we're getting pics soon a few more great human Jabba's figures from you soon.
I really like the head that you used! What head is that? It almost looks like Captain Picard from Star Trek.
Nicely done ! Was curious on the Helmet , what did you use ?
I'm with Starchaser. Great job.
This character was such a missed opportunity for Hasbro. A battle pack with Mando Maul, Mando Obiwan and Bo-Kataan would have been a slam dunk. I'm sure you and Peakob1 have discussed it. I have to admit, I've only had time for about three of your podcasts.
Oh wow! Can I say that again: Oh, Wow! She really turned out amazing. Lovely execution, and really great design eye for Karina. You are the Master!
With so little articulation, Maul doesn't stand a chance! Those Jawas and droid need to be a 3 pack and on shelves so we can start building Jawa bazaars.
Nice!
Gotta find those Molotov markers.
IVe got an extra BaD K-3PO and want to make a U-3PO.
That BaD has gotten really pricey.
I was planning on using gloss reflective silver spray paint, but this looks far less messy.
Do the markers also come in gold?
I'm thinking shiny C-3PO
Excellent update. The "evolutions" of Sabine is a great series. Kudos! Chewie turned out well - how does he different from your first version? Rio is awesome - would you care to share your recipe? I'm particularly interested in the joints. All 'round fantastic.
Very nice. Off to share and Merry Christmas.
My home internet is out this week, but I will definitely get this on the front page!
Good luck Elias!
Both of these figures look great. Thanks for including the link to your blog posts. I appreciated the recipe/tips there. I also really appreciate how good you are about giving credit to other customizers - that's a great demonstration of integrity.
Congratulations on winning the contest you guys!
I checked this page hosting the contest three weeks ago or so when Tamer shared it the first time on here. I actually wanted to sign up there and vote for you. But then I recognized that I didn't know the other artists/contestants. So I did some research and looked up their art on google. The reason why I decided not to vote for any of the contestants is because I think it's hard or even impossible to compare their projects. They are all from different themes. I'd rather participate in another contest on here where it's one topic/theme and also comparable.
This is just my honest opinion. Please, don't get me wrong here. I just cannot judge about these customs of completely different directions. It's like comparing the quality of apples to the quality of peanuts.
I'm still happy for you that you won this contest even without my vote.
Keep up the great work guys! I really like your father & son project!
- Philipp
All the artists are winners in our book. The win had everything to do with votes and wasn't a measure of talent at all. It was nice to see Elias get recognized though. He worked hard this year.
How do you get involved with the custom panel?
I'm already late with my comment - my apologies for that! Your Darth Maul looks outstanding! This concept reminds me of Kazdan Paratus from Raxus Prime of The Force Unleashed. The extended torso and the legs look incredible with all the parts and pieces on it!
A truly fantastic project DD! I'm most impressed once again!
I still wonder about Lucasfilm and what they've done and still do with Maul, though. Maul is just one of the best villains that died way too soon...now we saw him in SOLO, Clone Wars (he seems to be fixed on Season 6..?) and who knows if he even appears in Episode IX?!
Thanks for sharing this true masterpiece of art!
- Philipp
Damn! That is a very impressive figure. 3D printing has really changed the game. Fantastic job! How much did this cost you to make out of curiosity? How Hasbro or Kenner has not capitalized on this character is beyond me...
I predict the genie is about to be let out. It's inevitable that somebody next will fan-make 3D-print models of other Star Wars characters in 3.75" scale. Current home 3D printers have become good enough to do this.
So Dad was much better at posting on the forums than I am. In fact, I have been absolutely terrible about it. We have done quite a lot of custom action figures since our last post here. I will even have a few more to post up this weekend. Anyhow, here is what we have been up to.
This action figure was created for a commission. Our good friend Corey Van Dyke of Kessel Run Transmissions asked Dad if he could make him an Anakin Skywalker in time for the release of Season 7. Dad was a little worried about the deadline, but was able to finish the figure in less than a week.
Thanks for all the nice feedback on our customs!
We may have another cool Clone Wars action figure coming later in the season of the show so keep coming back for that reveal.
Look for Dad and I to appear as a recurring guests on Kessel Run Transmissions Friday evenings as they review each episode of Season 7 of The Clone Wars.

CB-23 was a BB-series astromech droid with feminine programming who was a member of the Resistance in 34 ABY. She was assigned to Commander Poe Dameron while BB-8 was stationed on the Colossus with Kazuda Xiono. After Dameron took back BB-8 before going on a mission to Jakku, CB-23 replaced the droid as Kaz's sidekick while on his misson on the Colossus platform.
CB-23 was a BB-series astromech droid with a spherical chassis, feminine programming, and red-blue plating. She was initially jealous of BB-8 but came to appreciate her fellow droid better after he saved her from a marauding Kowakian monkey-lizard. The two subsequently became friends.
CB-23 is a character created for Star Wars Resistance. She first appeared in the episode "Signal from Sector Six."[2] The droid's name was BB-23 in early stages of the episode, but as it was felt that having two droids named BB would have been confusing, she was renamed CB-23 as a nod to Carrie Beck, Vice President of Development within the Lucasfilm Story Group.
This is the first custom that we made from the Star Wars Resistance TV show. We would love to do more because not enough toys were made from this show in the action figure line. We were given the 3-D print file for CB-23's head from fellow Star Wars customizer, Sandcrawler Customs. He had just made a 6" version. I scaled the head down to 3.75", printed the head and then added it to the body of the BB-8 from the Resistance action figure line and gave the figure a repaint.

GOUD-4 was a box-shaped messenger droid with four wheels that was forced to work in the criminal Pyke Syndicate's spice mines on the planet Kessel during the reign of the Galactic Empire.[2] In 10 BBY,[3] GOUD-4 was freed from slavery when its restraining bolt was removed during a slave revolt in the mines started by the droid L3-37.[2]
We can't express how much we have been enjoying the 3-D print files of Isotelus. They are a blast to print and paint. We especially love how much they have added to our Kessel Playset by really filling out its droid population.

I made the action figures below on commission for one of our readers. I was able to improve upon two of the headsculpts since our last attempt at the characters. Dad was able to cut down some of the labor time for me by molding and casting a few of the original heads that we made which was great because it saved me having to re-sculpt all six heads. Ganodi and Katooni were the onlt two characters that I still had to hand sculpt, because we just didn't have the right tools and set-up to mold and cast them. I really liked the sculpt more on the second attempts. It was hard to mail them out the door.
Even now mass production from the molds we have is sketchy without a pressure chamber. Between Byph's eyes and Zatt's tentacles, getting a good cast is next to impossible. Gungi was the only cast that needed only minor fixes. We kept the recipes for the figures exactly the same as we did for our first set of Younglings. Click on the photo of our first set below for the full breakdown of how they were made.

This is the second version of Fives in his Coruscant Club disguise. We recently redid the action figure at the request of Corey Van Dyke from Kessel Run Transmissions. I had already made an Ahsoka Tano in her Seige of Mandalore armor and a Season 7 version of Obi-Wan Kenobi when this figure was added to the list. It was a quick and easy custom to make. I just used the body of a Phase II Clone Trooper action figure with a Clone headcast we made. A while back Dad made this enormous mold of every Clone Wars clone head ever produced. It always comes in handy for projects like these. After making the cast, I painted it so it had Fives head tattoo, scar and goatee. Then we painted a modified Imperial Officer cap from the Juno Eclipse action figure to finish the figure. You need to make a pizza wedge slice into the back of her cap and re-glue the edges back together to make it fit Fives head nice and tight. Before painting, feel free to sculpt a thin layer over the cut to hide it once the glue dries.

Wow, great customs. Off to the front pages. I saw that wolf the other day on FB and had to share it.
Congrats on ten years!
Elias
Is this a sculpt or did you design it with Zbrush?
Those are all really outstanding additions to your store! Thanks for making them available.
Your droid repaint looks excellent. How do you like the x-wing? I haven't found one yet. Here's hoping:)
Elias will definitely appreciate hearing that even if he's too humble to believe it.
Never understood why they never made this gut to go with Embo.
Very nice, if you want to leave the link to Spartan 118 Customs that would be great too.
Off to share on the front pages.
So this Rukh came all the way from Turkey? It felt like listening to a great song for the first time when I saw your pictures. Really like this alien design, which I hadn't known before. Masterfully painted by you of course. Fantastic update!
No I just printed the file at home. We subscribe to Uzay's Patreon and get several print files every month from his service. He has a lot of great offerings!
Wow what an awesome story! I just followed him on FB after I had read your post. So nice of you that you helped him out. I think I have an extra El Les as well, but not complete.
By the way do you still buy lots and fodders of TCW figures for future customs?
They've become harder to find here in Germany over the past couple years - except for the main characters of course. I wish they had given us a bigger supply of Phase II Clones.
You did a really good job painting those two, indeed. I had a lot of fun reading your story and looking at the pictures. Thanks for sharing this and making my Saturday brighter!
That lurmen is really great. Would love to know the process on him!
Wow, that is amazing! Its a really cool character design, and the execution is brilliant. I can totally see why the helmet had to be printed. Any chance you will make that design available for sale, not with the full figure?

I talked to Elias and he will make a mold of the head and send it to Rebel Kid Creations to be available for sale.
I gotta be honest: I'm not a fan of all those Inquisitors. The Kenobi Show was the pinnacle to pee me off with all of Reva's hysterical screams.
However I think Elias did a tremendous job to replicate the character of Fallen Order.
Everything looks top notch here. What a masterpiece of sculpting work.
Is her red visor resin printed? And the lightsaber hilt looks amazing! Are the red blades taken from a 6 inch figure?
