This is more of a display than diorama but it's based on the Battle of Geonosis from Attack of the Clones. It's a cardboard base with half of a USPS small flat rate box (thanks Budget Jedi on YouTube!) with landscaping rocks from the yard. I used some spackling material mixed with water and toilet tissue to add some texture and fill in some gaps. It took forever to dry but once it did it was solid. I used a rust colored spray paint and lots of drybrusing with shades of tan, brown, etc. The background is a photo from the internet of Geonosis glued to a piece of poster board that is glued to the display for one piece. The battle droid on the top is from the Mission Series package w/ Jango Fett. It is hot-glued into place. The Super Battle Droids are also permanently attached with rocks positioned to hold them accordingly. Details include holes drilled and exposed wiring plus dry brush "weathering."
