I too think they didn't realize the demand for this. Hopefully this will show Hasbro they can do some larger regular release and perhaps save HasLab for some truly obsure or ever hard to get onto the main line items like a Tantive IV or Star Destroyer or a AT-AT Drop LAAT or AT-OT.

Still I am sure not whining like some folks about their choice this time out. Some folks I read on FB are absolutely flaming they chose this as the next HasLab.

   Yeah the pace is slowing, but it's still steady.

You give people the opportunity to complain they will not pass it up. I have a friend who works in a complaint department, I couldn't do it. Lol. I mainly just complain about bad repacks and carbonized TVC. Outside of that I'm at worst neutral on.

Honestly I'm not a huge fan of the show. It's great quality, the last two episodes were phenomenal though. It's a good choice. It's a great model quality ship and the scale isn't off too badly. It's definitely the best detailed ship yet, maybe with the exception of the Barge. But that's a ship and a playset.
The internet was expecting a Dagobah playset, and when it didn't happen they said Hasbro changed their mind at the last minute because of Youtube comments.  I don't think that's how it works.

And yes, I don't think thats how Hasbro works either. I think with all the negative comments they have endured over the years, their skin is pretty tough.

I did keep hearing rumors of this being offered as a main line item and something else for the Lab, but that is neither here nor there now. I am glad we have this.

Frankly I think the Mandalorian is the only show keeping the entire SW Franchise above water right now. Rogue One was good, Han Solo was ok, but man those postquels. I think Hasbro is smart picking the winning show right now.

About the only other thing they could do is go full on The Clone Wars from that last season, but man I guess Disney must have said no to that.

And yes, I couldn't work in a complaint department either. Just couldn't stand it and would have tried to constantly reason with trolls.

I am trying to download some high rez images now from the reveal, but the big news is we are gonna get a new tier 3 unlock at least (sounded like maybe even more) that will be revealed some time next week.

I will try to post the gallery on google or FB if I can get it to download. Its at 881MB and still going. I bet its TIFs I hate tiffs!

I bet we get to that fourth tier, but its gonna probably be a stretch to get that Jawa. I might be wrong. You always have folks who wait till the last minute.

Unlocked! Man, the numbers really jumped last night.

Just checked back at 18,490 units backed! Wow, now I'm quite optimistic we'll even reach 20k by the end of Monday...Sooogaa - the Jawa is secured! I'm impressed & happy.

The Razor Crest broke the 22k mark 12 hours before the backing ends. A new record of backed units at HasLab!




Update: It made another jump of 1,000 backers within an hour! Are we going to reach 25,000 or even 30k by the end of the day?!





I belong to the people who pre-order the Crest on the last day...let's see what happens. I wonder if the count will be added immediately when I place my order at Zavvi. Since I doubt that, I assume that the number will make another big jump shortly before the countdown ends.
