how much do you want for that e-wing!? lol j/k...  I've been trying to nab that one for ages.

Dang.. I never realized how many different versions of the x-wing there were in that line!  nor did I realize that there was actually 4 a-wings... i always assumed it was just red or green.  dag on.... I think I'm just going to give up on my dream of having every single action fleet ship version made.

I think I have you beat in shear number of af ships though.... well, idk... maybe not.  I honestly havn't counted them.  I had a pic saved somewhere of them all I'll have to look that up one of these days.  Do you have any more hidden away or is that what ya got?  Do you have all the mini-figs for each one as well?  that's my biggest peeve about getting them loose on e-bay, they usually don't have the figs.

I actually forgot to take pics of Jabba's Sail Barge, the B-Wing and B-Wing Alpha Version. I'm only missing the Jawa Sandcrawler and the alpha version of the Cloud Car. I just like to collect from the OT, it just interests me more. Also, all ships have all the correct figures. If I lose just one I would go insane lol.

Wow! Awesome!I like the custom Shadow Walker and Interceptor.  I started as an Action Fleet collector! When the line was cancelled I went to higher end collectiblesbut still wish Galoob was around. The AF ships are really great, come with tons of features, with mini figs and with stands. They are great for both points of view: children and collectors alike. No other line like Titanium or Transformers was able to replace AF, not even to get close...

jkno, couldn't agree with you more. I was upset that the Action Fleets released in 2002, the Saga Line from Hasbro, didn't include any mini-figures. What I did was I bought extra mini-figs off ebay and used them for those ships (Han & Chewie for the Falcon, Luke and Gunner for Snowspeeder, Vader for TIE, etc). I can't stand having Action Fleet ships with no figures.

Very nice AF collection too, I came across those pics by a google search. Cool that I finally get to meet who they belong too.   :)

Thanks everyone for the kind words, and glad you enjoy my collection!

I also got extra figures for each Saga ship and vehicle. Action Fleet are great with those cool mini figures.

Finally managed to get my Action Fleets and Titaniums out of storage and on display. So far I only have on display my Imperials and Neutral Craft, as I don't have many shelves in my room. Also, my room is the type of room where 1-2 people is perfect, 3 people it just gets crowded.

Please note I do have a TIE Fighter, but I'm currently using it for a custom. Enjoy!

Now I just gotta find a spot for my Rebel ships. I got 10 X-Wings let alone, this should be fun lol.

Haha, believe it or not I'm actually missing a few. I'm missing the Alpha version of the Cloud Car, Saga AT-AT, and the Remote Control 3 button AT-AT (which I'll probably never find). And then for playsets I'm missing The Death Star and Hoth, as I already have Yavin.

Glad you guys like the display, its so nice to get them out of storage!

So what do you guys think? I do apologize for the quality of my pictures. I'm using a camcorder for taking pictures, and my rug is a reddish color and my lights give off this orangish glow. I took these pics during the daytime to get some natural light but we've had rain the past few days. I think I'll just buy a digital camera and use it strictly for pictures.

Looks great, please tell me there aren't that many snowspeeders and that some of them are your customs!

I am sure hooked on these now. Are you planning on doing a playset shelf(ves) too? I would like to see all of those too. I wonder how many ESB based ships there are in this line?

Title: Re: Goldleaderone's collection
Post by: Goldleaderone on March 15, 2010, 12:12:51 PM
Thanks guys.

Tamer - I got an entertainment center, and the top shelf I never use so I'll probably use that for the playsets. I have Yavin, I just need the Death Star and Hoth. As for the Snowspeeder variants, there's a few: Clean, Dirty, Battle Damaged, Rogue 2 colors, Alpha Concept Design (2 variations), and the Saga 2002. That yellowish Snowspeeder is a custom, which is the Sandspeeder. With the Alpha variations, there's a few paint differences, the harpoon gun is colored on one, not on the other, and with one you get 2 concept pilots, while with the other you get 1 concept pilot with the regular Luke figure.

Alright so I have a lot of pilot figures here, I figured I'd take pictures of them per squadron.

Red Squadron  (When I get the 30th Anniversary Biggs pilot figure in the mail from ebay, I will retake this picture)

Awesome. In the last couple of years i've got really into the pilots...i'm trying to get them all.  In the last Hasbro Q&A they said they are going to try to make a lot more pilots so that's good news.

Awesome collection of pilots! If you didn't know I am also into pilots and the astros that fly with them. What head is that for Arvil? Also wondering how you decided to use it over the one we got from hasbro? Look forward to seeing more when you get/make them. ;)

Thanks guys. Luke, the Arvel figure is the one that came with the Green Leader A-Wing from The Legacy Collection. All my pilots are stock pilots, no part swapping or anything. I'm just waiting for the Snowspeeder Luke pilot and then I can do Rogue Squadron from Hoth.

Haha its cool. I read that they named the Chinese guy Arvel by mistake. He was supposed to be one of the Y-Wing pilots. Who I'm not sure though.

Luke speaking of customs, I want to do some head swapping, I'd like to put a Tycho Celchu and Keyan Farlander head on one of the usual orange flightsuits. I was messing around today, for Tycho the body from Wedge from the Red 2 X-Wing pack seems to work. The head stays on but its very loose, any idea how to tighten it a bit?
Title: Re: Goldleaderone's collection
Post by: Luke Sprywalker on September 02, 2010, 05:14:46 PM
Yes, put a small bit of vasoline on the neck nub, put a dab of hot glue in the head hole, pop it on then run it under cold water while turning the head. The glue dries quickly this way and wala you are done. If you have excess glue just trim it with an exacto.

I have noticed an Asian Y wing pilot with a different helmet. Almost looks female.

Couldn't help myself on this one. I head swapped Tycho's head on John D. Branon's body just for this picture.

Red 4 - Derek "Hobbie" Klivian

Rogue Squadron

I too, have been struck by the Rogue Squadron bug. Now you need the Evolution sets and the comic book sets to finish it off. In the last few months i've found the Evolution sets on sale at Wal-Mart, so you might need to check it out. Hasbro said the Vintage Wedge has been postponed until he gets a new head sculpt so even though I want him real bad(I only have the Wedge from the comic pack) I'm hoping that it'll be worth the wait and they do Rogue Leader Right! Dave, you need a Rebel Emblem tattoo dude!

Cool. Yeah, I just seen that Luke at Wal-Mart yesterday and seen that he's a Saga Legend now. It's a good sculpt, but all the one's I seen yesterday had crappy paint jobs on the faces. Seems like Hasbro's pumping a lot of figures out and some of the quality is going down on some of them. Hope they get that straightened out. So GoldLeaderone, did you ever measure the AT-AT for me? I'm building a new shelf, but I need the dimensions of that bad boy since I haven't got one....yet. I just need the exact height from the floor to tallest point on it's back and from the nose to the rear mostly but a width would be nice too. Thanks homey!
Title: Re: Goldleaderone's collection
Post by: Goldleaderone on September 06, 2010, 03:57:19 PM
Yeah, from the floor to the top its about 24 1/2 inches, and from the front to back its about 29 inches (from front to back I took into account the chin guns that stick out).

I had an idea with my Imperial shelf the other day. I moved the Probe Droid I had on the bottom shelf and put it on the shelf above, but attached 2 push pins under 2 of its legs to give off the effect that its floating. I know its nothing special but I just think it looks cool.

Thanks guys. Clone you have no idea haha.

In picture 2 you can see my entertainment center. I'm trying to get rid of that and make more room in here. Lately I've been thinking of getting a wall mount for my TV. Doing that would clear up a lot of room in here. If I do that I already know what shelves I want to get.

Might as well update this thread while I'm at it. Here are my updated 1:18 scale ships.

- Red Leader X-wing
- Wedge Antilles' Red Two X-wing
- Luke Skywalker's Red Five X-wing (POTF FX)
- Corran Horn's X-wing (custom)
- Dash Rendar's Outrider
- Lt. Lepira's Gold Four Y-wing
- Green Leader A-wing
- Zev Senesca's Rogue Two Snowspeeder
- Luke Skywalker's Snowspeeder, Rogue Leader

I am aware the Outrider is missing the missile launcher on the side. Honestly I never liked it as it wasn't accurate. All other media (video game, comics, artwork) showed the Outrider with no missile launcher.

Yeah after youtube switched over to the new layout it was a bit confusing. I never really bothered to look into the whole new setup. I find it difficult to follow the people I subscribed to.

Also now I can't log into my youtube account, forgot the password and the "lost password email confirmation" ain't working. Great..   -__-

Anyway here's my updated pilot collection. I sold quite a few (namely the females and alien pilots) as I really only collect the movie pilots and select EU pilots.

My Wedge Antilles Black Series figure came in the mail, so now I will be using him and Wes Janson in my custom Snowspeeder (with red/orange paint job). Now I have the 3 Snowspeeders associated with Rogues 1, 2 and 3, as well as their respected pilots and gunners. Except for Zev's Rogue 2 Snowspeeder - I use the Zev that came in the pack-in with the Snowspeeder as the pilot, and the carded figure as the gunner.

This is why I love customizing.

Left to right:

Rogue 1:  Luke Skywalker and Dack/Dak Ralter
Rogue 2:  Zev Senesca and... Zev Senesca (one came as a pack-in, other is separate carded figure)
Rogue 3:  Wedge Antilles and Wes Janson  (custom Snowspeeder)

I wondered if you were trying to get into that Ollie's deal that has some of the Snowspeeders. These three looks great.

There and K-Mart. You can get a snowspeeder/cloud car combination for twenty bucks, think its fifteen at Kmart.

I got a new shelf in my room and started placing some of my ships on them. The shelf was an old cabinet that had a ton of VCR's in it. I went through and got rid of our VCR's, and got the idea of unscrewing the doors off and keeping the main shelf instead. It's not the greatest right now, I'm trying to make it look a bit more presentable.

This ain't the final product, I'm still trying to figure out what exactly I want to place where. As of now, this will do. The bottom shelf, where I have the most room, I'd like to place my pilot figures. I have 10 Star Wars figure stands for about 25 pilot figures. Once I get enough stands, I can start placing them on my shelf.

From top to bottom:
- Zev Senesca's Rogue 2 Snowspeeder and Dash Rendar's Outrider
- Titanium Ultra X-Wing Red 5, Snowspeeder, AT-AT Walker
- Titanium Ultra Slave I, TIE Fighter, Millennium Falcon
- Luke Skywalker's Snowspeeder (2010) and another 2010 Snowspeeder customized with the traditional red/orange markings (now using for Wedge Antilles and Wes Janson's Snowspeeder)

I managed to get all my pilots out today for a pilot collection update. This collection also includes pilots that were released with vehicles only. I set them up by ship, so A-wing pilots are together, B-wing pilots together, etc..

1st pic: whole collection
2nd pic:  A-wing and B-wing pilots
3rd pic:  X-wing pilots from Rogue Squadron

.. cont'd

4th pic: X-wing pilots
5th pic:  Y-wing pilots
6th pic:  Snowspeeder pilots from Rogue Squadron

In the X-wing pilots picture, there is a custom of Gavin Darklighter in the back. That should have been in the X-wing Rogue Squadron pilot picture.

Nice case! What is it and where did you get it? Off to share.

Thanks Tamer. Its a mini acrylic display case, comes with a lock attached and 2 keys. I got this off ebay. Approximate Overall Dimensions: 10.25"W x 4.25"D x 18"H  and  Shelf space is approximately 4.5".  I wish the case was a bit bigger but overall I'm happy with it, and very glad to get my pilot figures out on display.

At first I thought I was going to have a lot of room, then I realized I might not. Luckily it all worked out, I had to squeeze in some of the pilots though. Not pictured is Dak Ralter (he is in the Snowspeeder, I do have The Black Series version displayed), my custom Bothan Y-wing pilot (in the Y-wing), Zev Senesca (in Snowspeeder, I have the single carded version displayed), and same goes for Keyan Farlander (in the B-wing).

I agree it would be great to have one of these that is a little larger. Still, its a great way to display loose figures.

I had a friend over today and we worked on one of my Action Fleet shelves. I thought we would have time for the other shelf but this one took a few hours. We had 1 big piece of plexiglass, we measured and cut off the pieces we didn't need. We cut it into 2 pieces, as I wanted it to open like a regular shelf. Having one big piece of plexiglass covering the shelf would be really awkward to open. Lastly we put some hinges in on the sides and some magnets on the inside at the top. We thought of putting a handle on or drilling out a small circle so it would be easier for me to open it. Instead we opted to have the plexiglass overlap just a bit at the top, allowing me to open it with ease and giving it some room at the bottom so it wouldn't drag on the floor.

After this was all done, I cleaned everything out and dusted. I cleaned the shelves, the ships, everything. I even used a few of those air dust cans. Finally I put everything back up, rearranged a bit and got my newly acquired Rebel Transport in.

Next to do is the Imperial shelf. Fun times! lol.

Thanks. That was actually one of my first customs. It's supposed to be the Sandspeeder, which was a Titanium variant. I tried to color match it as best I could, and honestly I'm not too fond of it anymore. Some customs you're proud of, some you aren't. Ah well lol.

Just a minor update here. I wanted to see what I had for my Shadows of the Empire collection and share it. I usually stick to pilots but with SOTE being my favorite story, and how cheap the POTF figures are I figured they would make a nice display.

I am missing:
Darth Vader vs. Prince Xizor 2-pack
Boba Fett vs. IG-88 2-pack
Boba Fett's Slave I with Han Solo in carbonite
Princess Leia and Prince Xizor 2-pack

Still on the fence about the above listed, especially Slave I. If I can get them cheap I will.

Not pictured is a few micro machines and a few miscellaneous items I have scattered around here.

To the right in the photo is my custom Luke from Shadows, which looks pretty cool next to the other Shadows related figures.

Here's my updated TFA collection. I swore I wouldn't buy 5POA, yet I did. I only bought 2, Asty (he's a pilot I was getting him regardless) and Han (I had to). Soon to be 3 as I want Snap as well.

With the 6" figures, I was only buying pilots, got caught up, then got all giddy like a little kid when I saw Han. Then it didn't feel right not having Chewie so I ended up getting him.

Action Fleets were my main line with Titaniums a close second. I'm caught up with my TFA Titaniums, and threw in my custom Action Fleet Millennium Falcon and First Order TIE Fighter for good measure.

Here's a bit of a collection update.

First pic is my updated 6" Black Series. Second pic is figures I've acquired since expanding my collection. Last pic is my TFA figures. I still haven't unboxed Rey, Finn, FO Stormtrooper or Kylo Ren from The Black Series 3.75" line. No pilots shown in the last 2 pics as I have those separate.

Here's my updated collection, both the Original Trilogy and The Force Awakens shelves. I still don't have a lot of room so I display what I can.

Here are the main parts for my collection.

- Pilot case
- OT shelf
- TFA shelf
- Boxed Rey with BB-8 (with Luke's lightsaber), 6" Poe and Asty, and 6" and 3.75" Han Solo (keeping boxed with original paint apps)

Here is my updated 3.75" pilot collection. I'm still working on getting more of the astromechs that were assigned to the pilots. I have every latest release of each pilot, minus the one from the Dagger Squadron B-wing pack-in. Some pilots and 2 astromechs are also customs.

Top row: TFA pilots/astromechs, along with custom Wedge Antilles in TIE Pilot gear from Star Wars Rebels.
1st row: A-wing, B-wing and Y-wing pilots
2nd row: X-wing Red Squadron
3rd row: EU Legends Rogue Squadron and customs
4th row: Snowspeeder pilots and custom of myself

A lot of my customs are from video games. Dash Rendar in Snowspeeder gear (Rogue 12 in EU Legends), Kasan Moor from Rogue Squadron, Ace Azzameen and Olin Garn from X-wing Alliance, Rookie One from Rebel Assault, Gavin Darklighter from the Rogue Squadron comics. I also have a Bothan Y-wing pilot somewhere.
