My son Jaxon is a HUGE Starkiller fan. We found the great guy, Brandon Hillock, that cosplays Starkiller with amazing results. Friended him on fb just before C6 and he is the coolest guy and down to help anyone. We had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out a bit at C6 to check out his awesome gear in person. He has also sent me some WIP pics of his gear as it was being built, otherwise I would be lost. So, with this info I attempted to make my son a decent Starkiller in Raxus Prime Gear outfit. I can't tell you how bad I wish I could have done this before C6 for him.

I made the part that sticks up around the neck too big around. I want to take that apart, cut it down and make it thinner. Not sure if I will get to it and Jaxon is really happy with it as is. So we will see.

Thanks everyone! Yes, Starkiller is an Epic character. I plan to have a run of custom Starkillers in my usual scale here soon. We snapped a few pics at the crack of dawn this morning so I will have finished pics up soon.

HERE HE IS! Just need to buy some more material for the part that hangs down in the back, find some black gloves and find this red bike light we had out a month ago. It seems to have vanished.

I love it! LE, you're one cool dad. Your son is gonna have one of the best costumes in the country for Halloween.
-
L.E., that is absolutely awesome! Jaxon is one lucky kid, and he's going to blow 'em all away on Halloween! On the front page, my friend.
-
Love it.. and you son looks like he does too. 1000x better than those crappy store bought ones.

Force Push pic FTW!!!

Now that is just too cool Spry.
I would love to hear Brandon's take on it. I bet he is pretty pleased.
-

Thanks to my friend Brandon Hillock for the effects.

LOL. I figured Jaxxon was pretty stoked. No, I meant the fellow you guys met and talked with at C6 who had the awesome cosplay like this. Maybe I got the wrong name?
-
I love it!

Ah, I got you Shawn. He thinks it looks amazing! He is also stoked that Jaxon was dedicated to the character enough to shave his head! That is right, I shaved his head right before his school fall festival and Tae-Kwan-Do Halloween party/lock in. Here are a few pics from the photo shoot we had when I picked him up at 8 the next morning.

I have many more images if any other phot shop wizards would like me to email them to play with. I will be adding them when I get time to crop/edit them.

Nice costume! And what a great dad to make it for him.
-
Awesome L.E.
Time to take this to the fp. I sure wish I had had a costume like that when I was a kid. It turned out fantastic.
-
It looks so cool LE. The pic with the destroyer is off the hook! Did you use that unbleached muslin I told you about for this project? It sure looks like it from the pics. Way to go Jaxson for shaving his head! He is going to have a blast tonight!
-
DUDE!!!.... that is totally awesome. LE, your son is one of the luckiest kids in the world.
-
I'm Jaxon and I am new to the shipyards.Glad everyone likes these pics by my father.
-
Wow! The photos shot outside with all of the debris are beyond cool! The costume is outstanding, and I must commend Jaxon's commitment to allow the haircut.
I wish my father would have done something like this for me as a youngster. I got 2 holes cut in an old sheet for Halloween.
Dude, you guys ROCK!
-
Glad you found this thread Barry! Thanks so much man!
-
Wow, I must have missed this one. Very Very Cool, Spry!
