I think we would all agree hasbro should release a new skiff. It serves as the perfect base for all your Pirates of Tatooine.

@Tamer: it's ok brother. THe weather is playing havoc with everyone's internet. I do agree, they need to release a grimy, sandblasted skiff without any action features (I think we've all grown out of action features). And instead of landing gear, perhaps a clear base? Thanks for the front page! I don't feel the skiff pirates are my strongest work, but they're on the way to even better customs.

After getting my hands dirty creating the Boba Fem/ Babe-a Fett character for the current "build a mando" contest in which I used paint (I know! Paint!) and actually cut and glued pieces into an original creation. I've now embarked on a large scale project of (3 3/4" scale) customs that combine 2 of my favorite things in Star Wars. Mandalorians and Imperial Troops! I have been cutting and gluing and painting up a storm in the studio creating a squad, not unlike GI Joe, that features team members each with unique skills and adaptations to certain types of warfare and environments. I even scratch built an all-terrain heavy combat droid tank. The Imperial Mandalorian commandos make up an elite covert strike time devised by mandalorian general during the clone wars turned high ranking Imperial officer. Together with their field commander they are able to undertake any challenge and best any foe. Combining Mandalorian tech and weaponry with Imperial military tech has created a truly hybrid unit of soldiers capable of bringing down powerful force users. Recruiting the best Imperial soldiers, pilots, and specialists, as well as their mandalorian counterparts this unit was formed.

I have completed two figures and the tank droid so far. I have 1 more figure to be painted and at least 4 more to build and paint.

AT-DT (All Terrain Droid Tank) Equipped with heavy rockets, light heat-seeking rockets, a rear light laser, twin side mini guns, and a main forward Gatling cannon

Next up we have Bogey the vehicle specialist and pilot for the squad. Bogey possesses extensive knowledge of nearly all known crafts and transports. An avid mechanic and ace fighter pilot he is capable of not only ferrying the squad to their objectives but also offering aerial assistance and artillery support. With a boosted internal/external comm system he can patch into any or all squad member's helmets to rely vital coordinates and intel. His helmet combines the standard Imperial tie pilot design with the sleek T-visored Mando helmet. It connects to a standard imperial life support pack and is capable of being sealed to the vacuum of space. His chest armor is affixed to a specially modified light jump jet back pack capable of reaching 200 feet for a short time. It fires rocket repulsors that help Bogey land on his feet from any height--even if he were to jump off of or fall from a cliff. With the standard weaponized mando gauntlets he's never unarmed and he has a slave circuit to patch into any of the squad's vehicle's controls. On his belt are utility pouches containing rations and basic maintenance tools. He wields a light repeating "grease-gun" blaster rifle (inspired by WWII navy grease guns with mando/imp parts) and a projectile pistol that is safe to fire in a pressurized environment. Complete with a flight harness and code cylinders around his ankle, Bogey is ready to take to the skies.
