ROTS Skywalker costume
« on: June 27, 2008, 08:25:31 AM »
here are some shots of this great Jedi costume that my wife made for me a couple of years ago. It works well with the Darth Maul FX Lightsaber wich I do have the other half of.

One more shot. I think that with minor modifications, this might double for a Darth Maul costume with my Maul mask and the other half of the saber.

I was thinking the same thing Clint. That would look great. The costume looks good now.

I wonder what you could do customizing a suit of clone armor? >:D

Let me borrow one and I will give it a shot.         Buddy, If I had a suit of clone armor, I would only take it off to shower. LOL swalk  swalk swalk

I hear you Clint. That would be a neat item to have for a collection and to wear to a few functions each year. I just can't drop the coin for something I have neither the room nor the deniro for.

Buddy, If I were to win the lottery, I would have a whole hallway lined with different suits of clone armor. I might even customize one. ;D

Really cool! As for armor, I always dreamed about a full stormie armor but it is way too expensive...

Tell me about it JNKO!  If I had the money and time, I'd have a couple of costumes, mostly for display.  I once saw on Ebay a set of Biker Scout armor, but it was black with the EMS Star Of Life on the chest.  Being a Paramedic, that's pretty cool!  Basically, it'd be a reverse Biker Scout armor with White undergarments.  I'd also like to do a custom made Jedi costume with navy blue and black as the colors.

ya know guys, if you are handy with woodworking... and sculpting... and can get your hands on a spare electric oven's filament... and get your hands on a vacuum pump... AND get the needed sheet styrene....

making your own armor wouldn't be that dificult.  I've actually looked into it for making a set of mandalore armor and if I could find all the right parts for cheap it'd be under 100 bucks to make the vacuum-former.  Then I'd just need to make templates and get the sheet styrene (which is the most expensive part actually!)
